“While traveling from Virginia to Georgia, our vehicle suddenly displayed a transmission error. We initially thought it might be a faulty solenoid, so we did a quick Google search for nearby shops and found AATCO Transmissions.

“This is to give Dun-Rite, particularly Brandon, the service manager a great review. I am from northwest Ohio and I pulled my travel trailer to Darlington to camp while I attended the Southern 500. On the Friday before the race my truck was acting like something was wrong with the transmission. I was “gun shy” about the transmission as I had to have it replaced returning to Ohio during the same trip the year before. Per a recommendation from the owners of the campground I called Dun-Rite and Brandon told me to bring it over as soon as I could to investigate the issue. After complimenting me on my clean truck he took it for a drive and I rode along. It took him about 1 minute to figure out that the truck was set in 4 wheel drive. (This dumb 72 year old had mistakenly put it there and didn’t realize it. My description of myself.)Perhaps if the temperature was 25 degrees and snow flying I would have realized immediately. I asked Brandon what I owed him for the trouble. With a smile on his face, he said nothing. So I promised him I would write a good review of Dun-Rite. Clean shop. Very busy. Several bays for work. While I was waiting I overheard Brandon patiently help a lady work through the logistics of her situation as she needed major repairs to her vehicle.
