The movers who delivered our dresser were fantastic—professional, efficient, and careful. They deserve 5 stars.
Unfortunately, the 1-star rating is due entirely to the experience with Hilldrup Greenville’s scheduling and communication. Hilldrup received the dresser on 9/17, and Wayfair showed a delivery date of 9/19. The contact number Wayfair provided for Hilldrup was useless—I left messages, Wayfair tried calling, and no one ever responded.
Instead, we received vague and confusing text messages about delivery with no clear dates. After escalating, Wayfair gave us a direct Hilldrup email, but even then we got conflicting responses. Eventually, we received confirmation from Wayfair that delivery was scheduled for 9/24. On the morning of 9/24, we got a delivery confirmation—only to have it canceled just 13 minutes before the window, rescheduling for 9/26.
This meant we rearranged our schedules twice for missed deliveries, with no explanation for the last-minute cancellation. The dresser finally arrived today, but the process was frustrating, disorganized, and completely lacking in communication.
