This YMCA caters only to swim teams, swim meets, and daycare. Paying members are second class citizens. Pool hours are ridiculously restricted and short. Babysitters can’t control the children. Showers and locker rooms often dirty and water is cold. Been a member for several years and now looking for alternative. Every year prices go up and service goes down. A poor representation of what the YMCA used to be. Director does not care and should be terminated. Too many swim meets with no pool to use and no parking. Don’t see anyone offering a rebate for facility that can’t be used. Many members, who support the sustainability of this facility, complain. It falls on deaf ears.

It's a very active YMCA. Lots of things going on. Kids programs, daycare, basketball, swimming. All kinds of stuff. They have two very large exercise areas. One with the machines and treadmills /bikes/ellipticals. One for free weights, barbells, and some machine stuff, but with free weights not all of them have a pull pin with different handles to pull or push. Some days it's really busy after work and some wknds. But it's a big place.

This has got to be the worst Y that I have ever been a member off. Middle Tyger Y is very unorganized, unprofessional and no one seems to know anything about anything. You sign up for classes that instructors don’t show up to teach. Instructors calling you cancel b/c they want to go home early or not even calling you at all and you’re there waiting. I went to ask the receptionist who was the instructor for the swim class b/c I had been waiting and trying to find out what to do. Her response was “ I don’t know, go ask the lifeguard.” This woman did not bother to make any effort to help me at all. Do better Middle Tyger ?

My family and I have been members of YMCA for more than 7 years and I can personally say that this is the YMCA where the rude, RACIST staff with the same attitude are, especially the people who are at reception, their attitude is as if it were free the program, I think they forget that he paid what we do every month helps them, :) my family and I prefer to go to others where the staff are very friendly and polite.

Basketball program is awful! Teams were not divided equally and it showed. Lots of parents (along with their kids) with ugly attitudes. Will NEVER let any of my kids play on any of their sports programs ever again.. and this is supposed to be a Christian faith based place..... pffffft!!

Never felt safe leaving my daughter in the daycare and she would cry every single time I told her we’re going to YMCA. She’s been to multiple gyms and always loved other ones, I suspect they don’t treat them well here. Not the nicest people working here, why would I except them treating my daughter well in the daycare? Do your own research.

Not the best place to work, if you report an accident or ask if a person is okay after falling, you’re not only reprimanded, you’re asked to leave because a few members reported me for asking if they were okay, also found a man in the ladies locker room and I found him on a website where you have to admit that you are a child predator and has been arrested for it!!
