They kept me on hold for 1 hour and 30 mins until the store closed. Never came to the line. I had my Drs office send a prescription in at 1:30pm and verified it was received by Walgreens ((which it was)) it was still not ready by 6:00 pm when I got off work. That is why I was calling, was to find out why it wasn't ready.

I have had poor experiences with the pharmacy staff over the last 60-days. After today’s experience, I transferred my prescriptions. It shouldn’t be a battle to pick up a prescription when one is notified via text it is ready for pick up. I also do not need to be asked “are you really this sick? Your doctor sure went overboard.” The pharmacy representatives are argumentative and rude for no reason.

I NEVER leave negative reviews, but for this pharmacy I just had to. Went in first thing for a flu shot. Didn't know you needed an appointment. That was not posted anywhere. Never had to have one at any other Walgreens location in past years. I was the only one in the entire store. The pharmacist asked if I had an appointment. I said no and he said they prefer appointments and said he wouldn't give me one. Went to Ingles and was given one by the nicest pharmacist. Will not go back to Walgreens for anything.

My wife got a prescriptiin filled Wallgreens overcharged us for a prescription by not running our insurance and running it as a full cash retail price. The next day I got injured and recieved the exact same prescription (antibiotic) for my injury I was charged correctly 1 tenth the price which was much more reasonable and sounded correct. When we went back a few days later for a refill and asked why, they admitted to their own mistake yet refused to correct it and kept our money. Welcome to the new world where drug dealers with a liscence are above the law and can steal from you then look you in the eye and tell you too dam bad, we already got your money. I will be looking for a new pharmacy ASAP.

They never answer the phone, but when you go up there they are standing around I thought switching from CVS would be better but it’s just as bad. Why have phones if you don’t answer them they pick up and hang up. Sorry service.it doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

I'm really surprised by the rating for this Walgreens. I've been going here for several years and have never had a negative interaction with any staff member. The shelves are always well-stocked. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is super convenient for those living in Moore. Honestly, my only wish is that Walgreens Corporate would discontine selling tobacco products similar to CVS.

I do not understand why the pharmacy is so incompetent. I am on a medication that is a weekly dose for a month and then it goes to a higher dose next month. My doctor called it in, I get a message it is out of stock. I called they say it would be there in 3 days. 3 days later I called 4 times, no one answers the phone and then it hangs up. Finally I went into the store and they said it was a PA. Which meant it had to be doctor approved by the insurance. Well not it's after hours and the doctor is not in..... why is it that Walgreens will send you multiple text messages to pick up you prescription BUT NO TEXT MESSAGE WHEN THERE IS AN ISSUE WILL YOUR PRESCRIPTION??? EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A PURE LACK OF CARING FOR THE CUSTOMER/PATIENT. It's all about there bottom line and not people, what a shame and shame on you Walgreens for not having a better handle on making people well, instead of sick.

This Walgreens was half way decent!They are now worse than the CVS across the street. Each time I call pharmacy they would disconnect me. I know they do it on purpose. Thank goodness there are other pharmacies.

If they had negative stars I would choose them. The attitude the cashier had was horrible. Customer service was horrible for a pharmacy.

I work in healthcare and speak with pharmacies daily, their pharmacist and technicians, but this Walgreens in Duncan, SC is by far the worse I have had to deal with personally for my sick child. Our doctor recommended calling before diving up due to shortage of amoxicillin in the area. I started calling on my personal cell phone at 23 minute on hold, I thought I mail have gotten lost in the queue, so I used my desk phone with actually pushed me to the doctors line, again placed on another hold. That was fine. How we after 44 minutes on the customer line and the doctors line, both calls ended immediately. I had to call back, this time again on my personal phone they would pick up and put my call on hold repeatedly, in theeantime my mother drove down to the pharmacy, 15 minutes from house. When she arrived no one was in the drive-thru line, she parked and went inside. When my mother went inside, there was one person ahead of no one behind the counter was on the phone. She explained the call issues and they could not explain it. They did thankfully have the amoxicillin, and they filled it quickly for my mother while she was waiting there, but in the meantime, she confirmed the number and she called personally from her cell phone and never got anyone to answer the phone, as she watched. The pharmacist (gentleman) came over and asked if there was something he could help her with, and she explained the phone issues that we have been having trying to get ahold of a tech before driving up there give shirtgae on antibiotic and that she was on hold as they were speaking and no one was addressing her call. He said he take 8 calls an hour about 3 minutes each, well then why did my daughter wait in total over an hour never got you and can hear a man’s voice in background as the call is answered and placed back on hold? The pharmacist said “he doesn’t know you got the prescription so What’s the problem?” He was completely rude. We will be changing to Publix across street.

Trying to get someone on the phone in the pharmacy is impossible. You can hear them pick up the phone and place it back on hold over and over again. I don't know if they are understaffed or what is going on but if you want to actually speak to someone over the phone good luck.
