First time here- visiting from RI Went through produce looking for radicchio (none found) and I was coming towards the deli where a man in the Ingles shirt was standing next to the deli meat counter- not only was he staring at me and every other female in produce- he was also masturbating with left hand deep in trouser pocket- I proceeded to tell the other two men working...literally 3 feet away from him- and they both tried to play it down stating that he is disabled. He knew what he was doing and he is truly that unaware then he needs to be with more supervision This is the VERY LAST time I will ever enter this American owned store...bleh

I've been going to this Ingles for 4 months now. Between the cashier practically throwing my groceries towards my cart, the rude managers, and the pain-staking task of 'self check-out' through their machines, I'd rather buy my supplies from a gas station.

This was a fueling service only which did not have a separate check-in for the market. They were on the higher spectrum in town at $3.79. Clean pump area and no issues with the overall fueling of my car. My visit was during the day. No issues with safety. The market is a good distance from the gas station. Easy on and off and would recommend.

The machine was full and they didn't know when somebody from coinstair was coming to unload it so it was a big waste of time.

I would like to congratulate and thank the Pharmacy staff--Sherry and Lisa(I think) who were pleasant, friendly, and professional in taking care of my vaccination this am. I could not be happier with that experience.

This is about the deli. While most of the people are nice a few have an attitude. I asked for 3 pieces of dark meat chicken. I wasn't paying attention to what she grabbed, she then looked at me funny and said "no veggies?" I said no and I took my chicken and left. When I got home and opened it, it was 3 of the tiniest legs I've ever seen, I swear one was a wing. It costed $3.50 something I think. I was kinda ill about this. Ive noticed they do that sometimes, pick out the worst they can give you. Like it's coming out of their pockets.

I went to the deli and placed my order. Immediately the lady has an attitude and says "that's gonna take a long time, but I can do it". I just smiled unsure how to react. Then she gives me the wrong meat that I ordered. Right after she tries to lecture me on how to order something even though my order was exactly what the label on the product stated. My mother arrived while I was waiting for my other order and she tells her how she lectured me. Immediately my temper arose and I pointed out the product and what the exact words that was printed on the product. While she was making my order she was whispering to her co-workers about my difficult order. Do NOT recommend going to deli if you want great customer service.

I shop at this Ingles location only if I'm on Calhoun Memorial Hwy. or I can't find what I'm looking for at the other Ingles. I don't shop at this location and they layout is different On Friday they have fried flounder and they don't sell flounder at the other Ingles location. My mother loves the flounder, but adds they don't put any salt in the flour. The people serving in the hot food section and the deli are always friendly to me in person and on the phone. I always check to make sure they have flounder. I like their salad bar too, I like to make a salad as soon as they put the food out. I won't fix a salad or eat from a buffet if it's been sitting out all day. Ingles is one of my favorite stores to shop at

I'm saddened to have to give a grocery store a two-star review, or even review a grocery store at all. And this really isn't so much for the store as a whole, but for my experience at the deli counter. If there were some way to review that separately I would, because Robert Ingle, God rest, isn't responsible for what goes on at the deli counter. But I went in today because I had been wanting to try the teriyaki chicken and black wax cheddar that Boar's Head offers and I happened to be passing by. So I walked in, and went over to the counter, and asked the two young men about the teriyaki chicken and black wax cheddar. They pointed it out, and went over prices and quantity and I waited as they began to prepare my order. So one of the young men asked how I wanted the cheese cut, and I guess I must have hesitated a bit. Maybe I didn't expect the question, who knows. I was frazzled from earlier so I was a bit out of it. I told him I wanted it sliced, just in sandwich slices. I was going to use it for sandwiches after all, so I guess I gave him the right answer. He informed me that they sell it in cubes and slices, and I said "Oh, okay" and smiled. He finished and handed over a slice of cheese for me to approve and I said it was good. So he then asked about the chicken and I said the same thing, that I just needed it in sandwich slices. I didn't think much of the interaction. Well apparently I didn't give the right answers or seemed unsure of myself because the guy asked me "Have you ever been to a deli before?" I don't know if it was a playful jab or what, maybe I overthought it, but it just seemed condescending. I'm a grown a** man; yes I've been to a deli. But rather than go into all that and make a spectacle I chuckled uncomfortably and said "Is it that obvious?" And he had this sort of smug grin the whole time, like, 'Look at this schmuck; he doesn't know how to order meats and cheeses from a deli counter.' I didn't really appreciate that. He seemed like the kind of guy who probably calls people 'Chief' or 'Big Guy' a lot, not that I haven't. But anyway, I thanked him and took my meat and cheese and went to the check out. But of course, being Wednesday, the day most Americans do their grocery shopping, the registers had lines. I'm not one to wait in line for two items, so naturally I opted for the self checkout. Now self checkouts and I have somewhat of a love/hate relationship. It's generally a quick and convenient experience, but there's always room for error as was the case during today's visit. I scanned the meat and put it in the bag, but the automated voice told me to take it out of the bag and scan it again. I questioned this, as it showed up on the screen already, but I did, and of course it scanned it again. I noticed that there was no 'Cancel Item' button, which is really a brilliant design. Heaven forbid I scan something twice and need to cancel it out... So I pressed the only other button that might lead to a solution which was the 'Attendant Call' button. I looked over to the girl in charge of the self checkouts and waited for her to stop inspecting her nails and fiddling with her hair and she looked down at the alert and back at me and said "You're good." Another one of those statements that just leaves a person without a response, much like when the girl at the Papa John's drive thru window asked me if I wanted to place an order for a pizza. So after realizing perhaps the alert didn't specify the problem to her I told her that the item scanned twice. She called for the supervisor and I looked over to the cigarette counter where they tend to perch. After the supervisor finished laughing at whatever anecdote she had been sharing with her coworkers, she took her keys and walked towards the attendant station, an
