I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Gerber, and my experience was great. I was really stressed about getting in a wreck and having to go through insurance and having a rental car, but they made it stress free.The manager, Brady, and her team really went out their way to make sure I had a good experience. they took the time to thoroughly assess the damage to my vehicle, explaining the repair process in a way that was easy for me to understand. Their transparency and honesty about the timeline and costs involved were greatly appreciated.Brady and Deana kept me updated regularly. I never had to chase them for information. The team was proactive in providing status updates. This level of communication not only reassured me but also demonstrated the dedication of the team to customer service.The quality of the repair work exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail was evident, and it's clear that the technicians at Gerber take pride in their craftsmanship. Went to the Easley location today to pickup a windshield I ordered. I was greeted by the guy at the desk by "I don't know anything about glass". I thought he was kidding around but no he was serious about his lack of knowledge. I asked what am I supposed to do and he suggested I go find my windshield myself at a warehouse that I've never been to. So evidently there is some animosity towards the glass company that is storing their windshields at Gerber collision. That animosity was passed along to the customer. So after it was determined that desk guy was glued to his chair the lead body shop technician came out and said "I'll walk you over to get your windshield". Probably one of the busiest guys in the building had no problem showing me where to get my windshield. He even advised me on how to install it. You sir are a 5 star employee. Hopefully next time Captain Cant Help will take the time to get out of his chair and help the customer.

Before I go to this shop, I called two times to let them know that I have a 27 feet long 13 feet tall rv needed to be repaired. The Lady manager tell me to come to let them take a look. I drove more than a hour to get there and was told that my vehicle is too big for their shop. So why don’t you just tell me over the phone?! Obviously she did not care about wasting my time and money. I hope the lady manager will learn something this time that their shop garage door is less than 13 feet height and the shop is too small for 27 feet vehicle. And most of all, I hope she will learn that it is not right to waste other people’s time and money.

Most ridiculous ? establishment . Sends vague text msgs Not personal at all Terrible all around service . We don't even have an H on the front of our car anymore ! It was supposed to be two weeks and ended up being about six weeks ! So NOW we have a Onda not a Honda it seems lol ! And this is our final straw with Usaa . They recommended this trash company So now we will be leaving them as well after many years !So incidentally, how many people do you return a car to with no H on the front of it that you can't figure out who I am? Also, you did not initialize the vehicle after repairing it. My husband had to do that , Our oil level was low we had to add oil to it, The list goes on and on. You should be able to figure out who we are by the context clues unless you give EVERY "customer" this poor level of service !Services: Transmission

I recently moved and my truck sustained some damage. Gerber got my vehicle in and out quickly. The manager explained the process and made sure I was happy with the results. Friendly and professional staff. I would highly recommend.

There's so much I could say about my experience's (yes-that's plural) with Gerber Collision, but I will start with the positive, therefore I give 1 Star because of Deanna, she has been the only positive I have experienced.I did tell the manager I would not give a bad review and she reassured me when I get my car back there would be no reason to do that, she would fill my gas tank up and everything would be made right. I stuck to my word but unfortunately she did not. So, my car is still with them going on round 4 maybe 5, l've lost count. I gave the manager every opportunity to make things right but yet she still demeaned my intelligence, even to the point she said she forgot to put gas in my car as promised so I had to give her an extra 30 minutes for her to do that.For me to write this is out of my comfort zone but I felt it was necessary for this company to be accountable for their incompetence. I am holding back quite a bit of information about my frustration and just plain ignorance of how I've been given the runaround. The manager made me feel as if I was trying to over explain my concerns when every single concern I had is and was validated. All I want is my car to be back to its original condition because that's what they got paid for. Finally, I was told my car was finished, This was Monday (note:I called them, they did not call me). Although they did say they tried calling several times on Friday but it was just air that answered. Idk. Texting has always been there usual way of communicating-so, no I did not receive one text.I go out and inspect my car which I didn’t do the last time and should have, I thought how odd and poor service for the manager not have my car pulled up when I arrived for me to look it over with her and to make sure everything was satisfactory, but she did make a point when I dropped my car off to take a green marker and circle everything and took pictures that needed to be “Re-fixed” from the mistakes they made prior hence, the reason my car had to go back to them again. Now at this point it has just became even more of an inconvenience as they put me in the smallest rental car and I was unable to put my grandsons car seat in and carpool 3 teenage boys from football. I was over the whole situation and that's when I decided this was enough. The manager was a bit argumentative and tried to explain herself out of why the dent in my car was still the way it was. “It’s white so it’s harder to see dents” The Insurance company didn’t put the estimate for the dent to be fixed” Huh? I was rear ended, that was the majority of the damage.My car was backed up rear facing the main road, dirty (she stated they gave it a quick clean) yeah, no, it was covered with pollen, dirt and dust.Hoped my car will be in NEW condition because that's exactly what it is-NEW.The accident occurred May 12,2023 and it is now October 3, 2023.The insurance company also gave them another supplement check yesterday. A claim that has already been closed, so this is beyond my comprehension as to why, and why am I hearing from the insurance company and not the manager herself? This review could have been avoided with one simple update yesterday but it didn’t happen. The manager took advantage of my patience, kindness and my non confrontational personality, tried to make small talk to divert my attention of the issues at hand, this just made things worse as she insulted my intelligence.I will not be driving my car out until it’s satisfactory to me and not satisfactory to the manager because her standards are Below zero.Get it right Gerber please, I really don’t want to go into any more negative details, and I have plenty more, along with pictures I can add if need be.Side note: the manager told me she would keep me updated and I gave her 3 different ways to do that. This was yesterday and still no word from anyone!!Also, I did not mention her name because I am waiting for the final results. I will leave her with somewhat of dignity not to call her out quite yet.

I had an appointment with this place for about 2 months before I called to confirm and they informed me that they do not accept claims from my insurance, so they could not take my car. I don’t know how someone makes a mistake like that, but it is extremely unprofessional. Luckily, once I went with a different body shop, they were able to take my car within a week. However, I do not appreciate the totally unnecessary amount of time I was forced to wait, when they do not even accept claims from my insurance. I would have at least liked to have been told this sooner. The process was very frustrating.Services: Battery
