Poor Richard's Booksellers has been a cherished part of Easley for over thirty-five years, located in a historic building that once served as the county's first public library. This delightful, locally owned bookstore offers a wide selection of new books across all genres, with special sections for youth and children's literature upstairs. The welcoming atmosphere makes it feel like a scene from a movie. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff who assist in finding books and can even order items not in stock. With competitive prices and a well-organized layout, Poor Richard's is a favorite destination for book lovers. Highly recommended!
Poor Richards' Booksellers is the best. The owner and clerks are friendly and welcoming. The books stocked are largely current and classics. Any time I can't find what I need, they are happy to order for me and it comes generally within a week. I love this independent bookstore.

Just left, and I had a wonderful experience. The shopkeeper was very friendly and informative, made great conversation and the atmosphere of the store was subtle and quiet. Definitely a good book store I plan to return to.

I ordered a book from here and the worker realized I was overcharged for the book. The worker was not only super apologetic but did everything to right the problem. My wife and I will be shopping at Poor Richard's books as long as we can. Extremely nice people who love books and people!
