“Everyone knows FN designs and manufactures superb firearms. What's lesser known--on account of the aforementioned running as well as they do--is that FN stands stalwartly behind its products. Recently, I discovered an issue with the charging-handle sled in my SCAR-16S NRCH. Within about four hours of reporting the matter to FN, I received an email request for photos of the rifle depicting the problem therewith. I sent the requested photos promptly, then settled in to wait for FN's verdict. The following day, I received two communiques from FN USA; the first stated a service order had been opened on my SCAR; the second comprised a shipping label and instructions germane to packaging and shipping my rifle to FN's South Carolina facility. I'm happy to report that FN quickly identified the problem with my SCAR (the charging-handle sled was out of spec), addressed such (replaced the wonky component with a factory-new one), and shipped the rifle safely back to me--all in less than two-weeks.
