Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, among thousand-year-old oak trees, Carolina Landing RV Camping is a Thousand Trails RV park conveniently located near Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC. This Lake Hartwell RV campground is open year-round and enjoys nearby mountain destinations. Situated on the third most visited reservoir east of the Mississippi River, the park offers warm breezes great for sailing or recreational boating, with several marinas nearby offering boat rentals. South Carolina's abundant golf courses and festivals make it an ideal vacation destination, and visitors can experience true southern hospitality at this Lake Hartwell RV resort. While the entrance area looks nice, some long-term campers' sites appear cluttered. The park features easy access to the lake, an open pool, and a great staff. Guests, especially children, enjoy the mini-golf course. Overall, it is considered a great park, though some reviewers note that certain areas, such as the restrooms and maintenance, need improvement.

This is our first time getting an annual site and it’s been the very best decision I’ve ever made!! We love our site and have been treated like royalty! The folks who work here are beyond amazing. They are so kind and helpful!!

Been coming here for 5 yrs and decided to get a annual site. Staff is very friendly and helpful, nice and quiet lots of squirrels ,deer, and birds.

We enjoy staying here. The staff is fantastic. I've recently started using a Onewheel so the hills are great for honing my skills 😁
