“I have got to share my personal experience with Dickie Polk Automotive and team. I was traveling thru this area (Hampton, SC) and realized my brakes were not responding and could smell the brakes, in panic I quickly called not knowing I would encounter the most aboslute willingness to come to my rescue on a Friday afternoon at closing. Not only did they come to where I was..and corrected my issue he followed me to the next town in case I did not feel confident to continue my travel. I am 100% certain that God has people in places everywhere but Dickie and his mechanic were absolutely heaven sent that day. “Was traveling through this area to go camping. My check engine light came on while pulling my camper. Found them on google and gave them a call. Told me to bring it in and they’d see what they could do. They worked quickly and I was only there for about an hour. Charged me a fair price. I can’t ask for more than that. I believe they’re trustworthy and would use them for all my maintenance work if I lived in the area.”
“These guys are amazing! I was on my way to Hilton Head in my 92 Jeep Wrangler when it began losing power. I talked to my mechanic in Augusta who thought it might be the catalytic converter. I decided to take my chances and limp it into the nearest town which was Allendale. After a few stops, I landed at R & R Motors. It was near the end of the work day, but they took the time to diagnose the problem and implemented a workaround that enabled me to drive it on to Hilton Head where my family was waiting. I wanted to pay them for the time they spent with me, but David wouldn’t take my money. Got the cat replaced the next day and the Jeep is as good as new! It was an incredible experience and had me thinking a lot about how I run my own business. Thanks for inspiring me!”
