The white lady with the black mascara under her eyes that be at the desk she looks young anyway she scammed my father out of 700 dollars and didn’t give us a rentalShe lied and said the card wasn’t working and had a very nasty attitude more then she know I work for the state and she better hope for have mercy on her soul because she is in big trouble my dad called his bank and found out she took the money off the card after she lied and said there was no money on the card she is a scammer and if yall see her in the Avis at Florence Airport yall better run because she will scam you but thanks be to god my dad bank stop the transaction but little do she know I am going to get to the bottom of this because my dad is old and she really was nasty with him and she tried to steal money that didn’t belong to her but I pray god have mercy on her

The lady at the counter was nice and polite. The rental itself is another story. Drove several miles down the road, and several different warning lights started going off. After about an hour, they all stopped. And maintenance isn't even addressed. Oil life was at 6%, and the tires haven't ever been rotated. If you rent a car, you want it to make it down the road. If basic maintenance isn't important enough, why should I rent from here again? Just my 2 cents.

Customer service was amazing. I stopped in this location on August 9th, 2022. Can honestly say this was the most pleasant experience I have had. The rep went above and beyond and we greatly appreciated her assistance. Thank you for helping us with our car pick up. You made it easy to get in & get out and on the road ASAP. Thank you for your kindness.

It was a terrible experience when I tried to rent a car. At first in the past I didn't have a problem renting a car but all of a sudden yesterday I tried to pay my rental with a chime card but the representative said thar they don't accept cards like that even though I had the funds to pay and I booked online and talking about a credit check. Why a credit check all of a sudden, you paying for the rental outright and credit check just to get a car to drive for a few days. Come on now. Doesn't make any sense at all. One star experience. Won't even try to rent from them again or some of the other places.

I had a short exchange returning a rental car to this facility, and found the staff very welcoming, knowledgeable, and I would clearly rent from these people again. Come by and get some southern hospitality from Avis rental car at the Florence regional Airport.

Ref rental # 791555122A month after the end of my rental, you've added charges to my credit card without any notice or explanation. Avis Customer Service can't identify the extra charge. They can't provide me a direct e-mail contact for you, and there is no address shown on your website.Please send me an e-mail with an explanation. As of now, I have disputed the charge.I shouldn't have to waste my time tracking down your random extra charges you add weeks later without any prior coordination.

I booked the online reservation for a rental with my debit card and it took my money back and I went out to airport to pickup. On top of waiting for the representative to come back to the desk to help me, I ended up having to wait for over 1 hr until she showed back up, I handed her the same exact card that withdrew the cost of the rental at the time of booking, and she was rude told me. That they couldn't put deposit on my same card.

Horrible customer service. I rented a car on 3/18 and prepaid $386.42 on my Chime Credit Card for the rental. (See below) I thought I selected3/18-3/22 but I selected 3/19-3/22. The agent told me that she could notassist me and provided the customer service number. I contacted customerservice and was assisted by Fernando who modified my reservation andenrolled me in the business preferred program with AWD#Y778580. My new rate was lowered to $283.86 andhe advised that I would receive a refund of $102.56 back to my Chime card. (See below.) When I arrived at the locationin Florence, SC, the agent advised that she saw my prepaid reservationbut could not assist me because the rate code was missing from herscreen. She would not call customer service but directed me to them forassistance. I spent approximately 30 min on the call with the repBernard but was escalated to his supervisor who provided the agent withthe code XR. I provide the agent with my Chime Credit card to pay the security deposit and she refused it andstated that I had to use a local bank debit card. I provided her with mySouth State debit card to place the hold of $250. The car was returnedwithout any issues and the gas tank was filled. I received an e-receipt stating that nothing was due. However, I checked myaccount and I was charged an additional $361.43 for the same rental. After contactingcustomer service, the rep could not find out why I received that charge and stated that I would need to submit proof ofthe charge to my card that ended in 4398. (See below.) I have attached proof. I submitted this information and the response stated that they apologized if I was told a lower rate and charged a different rate. The issue is that I was charged twice. I was never supposed to be charged anything extra unless there were damages. My business discount was never applied. Instead someone went back and placed the code from the original reservation on my rental which caused me to be charged the difference. I have been dealing with this for several months.

This place should be shut down. They never "have cars". I booked my reservation and when I arrived they claimed they didn't have any cars. I called the customer service line to verify and they said that they did. I also walked into the parking lot and saw cars galore. Just garbage collecting a paycheck. Fire all of them and start over.

Avis Car Rental at Budget Car Rental at Florence airport or the worst they have third party people that rent cars through that venue and when you go to get the car they want to, date you because they're trying to sell the car for hire price I recently made a reservation for car with VIP cars and when I went to budget to validate my reservation the lady told me that we may not have any cars when you come so call prior to you coming and I asked her what kind of games are you playing I've already paid half of the money for the car and I have a voucher and now you're telling me that there may not be any cars there that's crazy when I told this to the people at VIP cars they told me that they just trying to mislead you so that they can sell a car for a higher price thumbs down the Avis and budget at Florence airport in South Carolina stay away from them

Ms. Lynn was outstanding in providing service.She was attentive to what my needs were, and even helped me make my process a little less strenuous. I had went previously to pick up from a reservation online, when we first moved here, but was unable to get the vehicle due to our ignorance. She went the extra mile to ensure we understood the policy for that particular site (and current updates overall) and we haven't had an issue since. Ms. Lynn always greets us warmly and professionally.Stellar customer service and pleasant experience! Thank you!
