Ordered meds on Wednesday, it is now Friday and the staff needs 25 more minutes to get them ready. To be fair, Thursday was Thanksgiving Day. But, they were promised Wednesday afternoon. Ordered additional meds at 8AM Friday (today) for immediate pick up (1 hour wait promise) and five hours later those will take 30 minutes. I found no sense in these times. Also, these employees are panicking and rushing around but nothing is being done cordially, nothing efficiently nor effectively. These skills need to be a part of employee training. They opened at 2. At 2:19, there are ten of us waiting 30 minutes. There are a couple who have decided to call for a new prescription at a different pharmacy. Seems CVS needs to evaluate their pharmacy management model because both the employees and customers are frustrated. I'm leaving this review then I'm searching for a hometown pharmacy. Can't be sick and tired, then sick and tired again at the pharmacy, Did I mention that five are waiting for drop off? Now, I will say this is the rural south so the staff is displaying that customary courteous conversation which is often attributed to the south. That's a smoke screen when the business is...

If I could give a 0 I would. Have been without medications for 2 weeks. One stated on their website I had to call pharmacy to have it filled. Called 5 times on 6 days with a MINIMUM hold time of 35 minutes. Finally got an answer- I was rather ticked off- and tech that answered blames corporate for no help. Did not help at all. I got corporate number and have called and emailed them. Still no medicine. Doubt I'll get it now with their crap service.

Terrible service. The pharmacy is behind 24/7 and when you call about your medicine they have no idea what there talking about.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. The most unprofessional, rude and ignorant people work here. They want you to use the automated system then when you get in there they say it's not ready "why did you listen to the automated system?" So I talked to someone gave them the actual prescription number they said everything was good to go and then 5 hours later when we got there to pick up the meds they couldn't find them and one ended up not being in stock. Why didn't they call? Moved my prescriptions that day. They need someone to come and show them how to run a pharmacy because they do not get it.

I wish I could give this pharmacy a 0 because they truly are the worst. Prescriptions are never ready even with 24 hours plus of notice. Most of the staff is rude and not helpful. Lines are always insanely long and employees always dragging their feet. Had to wait 48+ hours for my dog’s antibiotics who had a major life threatening surgery and wounds. Then when it got filled it was crazy expensive only to get home and realize that was because they had filled the refills as well. Same week another example, i had a prescription called in before 8:45am Thursday, i called to see when my prescription would be ready so i could know when to come get it and the employee on the phone said “we just opened at 8, you’re going to have to give us time”. OK. I gave them plenty of time to get it filled, my husband went to pick it up Friday around 3:00 pm only for them to tell him it was unavailable and out of stock. I called (waited on hold for 20 minutes) to see if i could get it from another Cvs, the woman told me most likely everyone was out and either way i would have to have my dr. Send a new prescription there. I informed her my doctors office was closed and asked if they knew it was out of stock why wasn’t i contacted and informed? She said “i don’t know.” My doctors office closed at 12:00 and due to the holiday i now can’t get my prescription moved to another pharmacy until after the 5th! My husband tried to call back after this, waited on hold for about 20 minutes and they hung up on him as soon as he got through. Would not recommend.

Extremely rude services from the pharmacist and employees. I came in asking for pickup but the front desk told me to wait for it. After an hour, yes and an hour. No body spoke to me or tell me what's going on. I have to step in and ask the front desk one more time, and they told me the prescription didn't come through. Like wtf, if you can't find it then tell me right away. Don't waste my time.

Rude, inefficient, and unprofessional. First, I had a prescription sent in from my doctor that I needed for nausea and not only did they not fill the RX, but I waited two days for the medicine. I called to see why it wasn't ready and they informed me they were out of the medicine and had to order it. I asked why they didn't call me to tell me they didn't have the medicine, and after the lady huffed at me on the phone she said we don't call people, the calls are automated. I asked if she could tell me the number they "automated the call to" so she gave me the last four digits. I explained these were not the digits of my phone number and she said "oh well". All this disgusting attitude after holding for over 30 minutes to talk to an individual. This is not the only incident with CVS, but one of the most recent. They are always slow, rude, condescending, and act as if you're bothering them. My husband tried to drop off a RX with them and they were rude noting it wasn't time to refill the medicine and they couldn't hold the RX. I believe it is worth mentioning that they filled the RX incorrectly in the first place and not as the doctor ordered it. However it does no good to point it out or complain as they would never admit to being wrong nor take the time to listen or verify any information. I could go on and on with other questionable transactions and incidents here, but I won't. All these instances shows horrible or no management and terrible employees. Stay away from this place at all cost and transfer your RX to any location but this place. They've received the last dollar from me for vitamins and bandages as well as the last dollar from my insurance company. I've switched mine elsewhere as of now.

This pharmacy is the worst!!!! The rudeness is real!!! The pharmacist was very rude when asking for an ID when dropping off a prescription to be filled. It was unbecoming of a professional pharmacist. I reported the incident to the CVS store manager, but he showed no immediate action to resolve the problem on the rude pharmacist. I felt very disrespected & uncomfortable about giving my business to this CVS Pharmacy. I rather travel to the CVS across town. Something needs to be done about the attitude of the rude pharmacist. Wish I've writing down her name so everybody would know who she is. I will go back there get her name to let everybody know who she is.

The absolute WORST CVS in the history of CVS!! More than once, they have "dropped the ball" on filling my prescription!! My doctor faxes it over to them and they claim they haven't received it. It's a medication that I desperately need and have gone without for almost a week! Not the first time! Geeez!! I'll be moving my profile to another pharmacy. The location on West Palmetto is a nightmare! Stay away.

This pharmacy is awful. I have never had this difficult of a time getting my medication. Will continue using the CVS inside Target even though its further out.

West Palmetto CVS.... don't do it unless your desperate. When they send me an email, call me, or I call them in regards to scripts being ready for pickup, inevitably when I get to CVS to pick them up they are NOT ready! EVER!!! Even if I tick off each script by name w/ a pharmacy employee by phone and they tell me yes it's ready. It's not! Then I have to wait half hour or more for the scripts to be ready. And oh, days like today I get some snot nosed girl who has the nerve to roll her eyes at me for CVS not having the script ready when I was just told last night by the pharmacist she would have it ready for me LAST NIGHT!!!! Seriously? I'm just done, done, done! And what's up w/ the loose leaf paper taped to the brick outside wall at the drive through that nobody can read??? The ink was washed off it w/ the last rain perhaps and wind ripped through it. Yet we're supposed to know which lane is for drop off only because of this unreadable (unprofessional) loose leaf paper handwritten sign. I think this pharmacy is run by junior high schoolers. Good by CVS and hello WAGS!!!

Always takes forever to get scrips. The workers in the pharmacy are always arguing with each other and seem unhappy. I witness two verbally arguing. So unprofessional! Taking my business to Target!
