“Booked at the last minute for an overnight stay. No problem with checking in. Room smelled clean when we walked in. I did need to wash out the air conditioner filtered, that definitely needed some attention. The bathroom tub in room 230 drained very slowly so I felt like I was taking a bath and a shower at the same time. The bed was comfortable. Free Breakfast was just that. They had the usual waffles, grits, oatmeal, muffins, bagels/breads, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausage links and some apples. The woman working breakfast was super nice and had a positive attitude 😊 Overall would stop again if needed.”

“We were in town for a wedding and stayed at your hotel. It was a great experience the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. We especially liked the breakfast and the bed in our room was comfortable. We are about to purchase a new mattress for our home and would love to know what name brand and model you use. “I’ve really enjoyed my stay at Homewood Suites by Hilton Florence. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and the staff has been very welcoming and helpful. I especially want to recognize Genene for her exceptional customer service. She was absolutely amazing—friendly, professional, and genuinely made me feel valued as a guest. Her attention to detail and willingness to help really stood out. I also greatly appreciated the complimentary night they offered. It was a thoughtful gesture and made my stay even more enjoyable. “Excellent hotel. Outside and inside very clean. Front desk ladies were very nice and welcoming. Had a popcorn machine for guest to enjoy free fresh popped popcorn. Coffee is 24/7. Select coffee beans to be ground for your coffee. Room was very spacious and clean. Plenty of towels/wash clothes. Dove brand hand and hair products for you to use. Water pressure good and very hot water. Shower head is made for tall people. There was good reception on TV. Plenty of channels to watch. King bed was very comfortable. Had plenty of pillows. Coffee maker and microwave were in the room. Had welcoming mints in room for guest. Inside refrigerator was cool. Did not go swimming but absolutely loved their swimming area. It's on the inside but over half of it is glass. So kinda feels like on outside instead of inside. Walking distance to Zaxbys. Great location. Felt safe. No problems with noise. Air conditioning was great. Breakfast better than most hotels. Holiday Inn Express and Suites hotels have the best Breakfast to me. Doesn't taste like your normal hotel food. Now, most important, their famous cinnamon rolls. Yes, they had them. Yum, yum. Delicious!! No problems with checking in or out. Was fast. One of cleaning ladies spoke to my husband and I asked we were walking out our room. She was so so nice. She appeared to be genuine. Again, excellent hotel.”

“Historic building which has kind of an old building smell but that's to be expected. The rooms however are tired and worn. The Mattress and Linens were very good and the bathroom was fine although a weird mix of old and new design. Great location, nice bar,restaurant and breakfast. Great service experience at check-in and at the bar; upon checkout not so much as I think I interrupted storytelling hour.”

“We picked this Marriott for it is close to I 95 while traveling It is sad that the owners management nickle and dime their guests. This hotel now charges guests who drive a $5.00 parking fee even in the handi capped spaces. When I questioned the associate who checked us in about the fee she sais $5.00 is no big deal. This fee is totally unacceptable. Feels like we are being ripped off and we are.Especially when there was NEVER A FEE TO PARK in the past. Breakfast was prepared with care and the breakfast associates were friendly. Sad that the hotel does not respect its guests.”

“Daniel is exceptional! Very professional, personable, helpful and thorough. He was meant to do this career. Check in was a breeze. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The air condition unit made noise. But not bad enough that I couldn't sleep. The walls are thin. Our King bedroom was next to an adjoining room. It was like the family next door was in our room. We could hear everything. We turned the TV on and up. That drowned out the noise. For one night stay, it was manageable due to Daniel! Customer Service is key! Thanks”

“Our stop during this trip was the 2nd at a Super 8 motel. Like the earlier one in our trip, the room was clean and in working order. Booked through a travel platform, i received an email about our motel booking . Through the platform, I received a link to complete the check- in process on line. This was helpful and shortened our check-in process. Sometime before check out i receive an email from the motel (via the platform) to report the expected check-out time. We were satisfied with our stay and would stay again.”

They want out of their way to make my kids feel special. They looked at our marriott preference sheet and added the extras, and accommodated a late checkout. “We’ve been staying at this Florence location for a while because it’s near the train station, we live in Columbia but I travel to NJ often and we don’t drive at night. The beds are comfortable and bedroom, bathroom are always clean, however our last stay 10/3/26 the floors were slippery and I spoke to Jordan after we checked out and she said they were cleaning the room now and she would check after they finished. We would have told them earlier but we were so tired from traveling. Other than that we love staying at The La Quinta Inn in Florence, SC .”
