Worst hotel in Florence. Room was filthy. Pillowcases were not changed. Dog hair all over the room. No water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was gross. And to top it off, a bunch of druggies were in the room next to me trying to kick in their door at 2:30am. The WORST stay I've ever had. Also, thank you Front Desk for not caring at all. Waste of $160!

We drove with the children from New York to Florida. And we decided to stay there for the night. I looked for hotels that were just clean, I read reviews. There were good reviews here. But I was very disappointed. Sorry I didn't take a photo. There were other people's hairs in the bathroom, on the drain, there were a lot of them. There was also dust all over the room and a few hairs were in the bed, also the top of the bedspread was dirty in places, I don't mean stains, just as if someone had stepped on, leaving small mark in 2 places. I'm very disappointed. Although the staff were all very kind!Food & drinks: Breakfast was ordinary. But the waffles were delicious

We only stayed for 2-3 hours, checked out @ 0000 for starting our driving(to avoid Virginia day traffic on our way to Fl). What we didn't like that. Normally Laquinta (i have visited) has Hot cofee, 24×7, but they didn’t have. I asked if can get hot water for tea..said none. Most food places closed, wherever we thought to have for our family, just no luck, until 0600. Thanks for reading.Food & drinks: Didn’t meet expectations.

It's a great place for an overnight stay if your heading down to Florida. Their room is exceptionally nice and clean as compared to other places that we used to stay in the

breakfast was not bad, only the coffee was not hot. The room was generally clean, but there was a smell of mold or dampness. The bed linen is clean, but the pillows smell bad and damp. the furniture in the room has scratches. It wouldn't hurt to do some repairs.

Great customer service in the hotel. Their continental breakfast was quite good, by continental breakfast standards. Make your own waffles, eggs, biscuits, sausage and grits to name a few offerings. Lots of restaurants close by as well. Our room was not as clean as one would want; we had to have the bedding on one bed changed because it was dirty and the room itself is pretty small. It met our needs and I would recommend it if you are in need of a place to stay for a night while traveling.

1st off, the staff (guy that checked us in) was amazing. Very polite. Listened well. Etc.The downside was the bedsheets. They had faint stains on them. Now, we were traveling with a dog. So maybe that’s why they put stained sheets on the rooms with pets? It’s conveniently situated close to the Florence exit on 95. There seemed to be a selection of fast food and gas stations very close to the hotel. So, to be clear, when I say stained I’m not implying dirty. I’m saying the top sheet had stains on both beds. And for the record, our dog did not sleep on either bed.

Fantastic hotel for a super price! Room was clean, big and bed was comfy. Shower is large and has hot water as well as large dispensers of shampoo , etc Located by decent eateries and close to 95. One review I read said room smelled. Not true, the floors are laminate. This is a Dog friendly hotel that is very clean. I highly recommend this hotel.

After reading these reviews, I feel as if we were in the "twilight zone". The place is a dump. Keep driving. No ice and no vending machines. We were involved in an accident on I 95 and this was the motel the tow truck took us to. We had no car! No tax service and no uber. It was like spending a night in hell. The room was dirty and old. I have no idea where these pictures came from, but our room didn't look like this. My advice: Keep driving!

My family stayed here over the weekend. The room was booked in May and I was told at the time of booking my room would accommodate 2 adults and 4 children with 2 queen beds and a pullout sofa. On check-in I was told that hotel don't have that type of accommodation nor do they have roll aways. The hotel is full to capacity so we couldn't get another room. Get to the room, one bec had not been made, which let me know the bedding wasn't changed; and the bath tub had a dirty ring in it,, which let's me know it had not been cleaned. The microwave was not cleaned out and food was left in the refrigerator. I could say a lot more, but suffice it to say I will never stay here again. BTW, we come to Florence every year around this time but never this hotel again!

The ceiling has water damage, the shower wouldn't drain and the front desk clerk handed my father in law a plunger and told him to do it himself, the shower head sprayed everywhere, the cable cord was broken and forced against the wall by the dresser and we couldn't watch TV, their was something nasty all over the headboards, dirt on the blankets, completely understaffed but completely booked so we couldn't get a different room or help with our problem unless we did it ourselves. Floors were dirty DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL

if I could do this with no stars I would! stayed 2 times at Florence SC Laquinta, first time charged 125 dollars for a double bed and small dog, 2 weeks later I was charged 175 for the same 2 double bed room, however the guy at desk said "all we have is a king bed" not a king bed at all! After driving 16 hours checking in at midnight I was not in mindset to go back to front desk and would take it up with front desk in morning. NO ONE at front desk and could not find anyone, so we left knowing we have another 10 drive ahead of us. So for 3 weeks have been emailing back and forth without being able to even talk to anyone! I WAS OVER CHARGED 60 DOLLARS AND THEY DONT CARE!!!!

I was with my family traveling through SC, I’ve had good and clean experiences with LaQuinta and knew it was pet friendly and there was probably gonna be a few hairs. When my family entered our room there was a man watching tv. Our room wasn’t empty. We went back to get another room which wasn’t too much of a hassle but I find it just a bit unprofessional of them. At first glance the room seemed fine but just to be safe I looked at the bed and it was filthy. There was different times of hair types that ranged from straight and long to short and curly. Darkish moldy spots or weirdly colored stains were also visible. I looked around the sides for bedbugs and found the cover for the mattress was not even all the way pulled through. I was not wanting to sleep on a hairy and dirty bed which also had a odd musky smell, I took a look at the chairs. The first chair I looked at was already gross with stains. I looked over the floors and tables and were unpleasantly surprised with more stains and obviously overlooked spots to clean. There was dust on the tables and little stains but the table was probably the cleanest thing in that room. The bathroom was also dirty but I didn’t hang out there for a long time. Another inconvenience was the whole login code for the room. I feel the people at the front desk should’ve told us about the login code but it was a minor problem. So I thought, the place was just disgusting but as I poorly slept, at 1 AM a family including a man, a child, and 2 woman came in next door. I also could clearly tell they spoke Spanish. The fact I could tell what language they spoke and what their genders were is concerning. I could also hear anybody walking by in the hallway. I have no sense of privacy knowing the walls are not at all soundproof. When it became morning I went downstairs to look at what breakfast was. It was around 7:30 but I saw that the food was almost finished and the counters were very messy. The pool, didn’t get to experience it but by just looking looked like it needed to be updated and didn’t look similar to its photo. The exterior wasn’t flashy and isn’t that important but I noticed the bushes were close to being dead and the paint around the windows were withering away. Overall, poor quality and needs to be way cleaner. The pros I noticed was a working door, working elevator, being pet friendly, available pool, and breakfast. I also liked that there was a fridge and microwave, but I didn’t use either so I cannot give my opinion on those. I really hope whoever is cleaning the place wakes up because they give little to no effort in their work. 180 dollars for a mediocre and dirty hotel is not one to come back to.Rooms: Practically everywhere in the room was dirty.Safety: No privacy and I had been given a room with someone inside.
