Honestly if I could give 0 stars it would be just that ! I trusted this lady with my hair being that someone else i know hair was beautiful (she has sister locs) so of course it was going to look good. Me on the other hand I have medium size locs which was damaged pretty badly from not maintaining my locs like I should have . I had 25 missing locs that she was supposed to reattach I went to her she told me $230 for everything ok that was cool cause I needed to get my hair done right. All day at work I had a gut feeling NOT to go and I went anyways?. This lady used a tool off tik tok and also interlock my hair something that I did NOT want . When she got done it look good because she used product to slick it whenever I actually saw it close up it was a MESS!! My parts wasn’t even parts and it was even worse the next day ! She ended up charging me $250.00 for a style that came out time I left her shop claiming my hair wasn’t long enough which is a lie! Also she didn’t reattach all the locs . I HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND. Wish I would’ve looked at the reviews before I went here !! Never ever again she will rep what she sow ????playing in people’s hair I could’ve let my 3 year old do this ! Please don’t comment about what she did to your hair because this is what mine look like UGLY ! Also will be posting this on all sites so nobody else will get cheated.

Firstly she was super nice and soft spoken but she should have said she couldn't do braids that well. My husband got his hair braided in cornrow braids and she did the design but it looks like someone who doesn't do hair did them. She put way to much product in his hair and sat him under a dryer for 30 min and made his hair crusty. She washed, and dried his hair as she went through braiding, and it was $130 NOT worth that much.

I came on with my mother without an appointment got colered dreads started and box braids for my mom after Christmas. She was awesome!!! We aren't even finished yet. But I been paying close attention to detail. And as a veteran that has made history in South Carolina period. I'm way more forward then my mother. I happen to be cultured as well knowing exactly what I want and the other reviews are the only things that disappoint me?

Place is very clean but very disappointed in my braids she charged me $190 for something I was dissatisfied with I asked for middle part with my braids but from the looks of my hair I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there loose ends frizzy braids?I normally go to Linda’s or Mary’s African Braiding but decided to trust Mae’s after hours of getting my hair done it looked like it was done three months ago husband kids and I very disappointed don’t waste your time or your moneyService: Braids

I have been a loyal customer of hers for at least three years and have had little to no problem with her. She always treats me and my wife who is also a customer with the utmost respect and professionalism. One thing that has to be remembered about her is that she is African and sometimes will stay busy with her family in Africa.

Rip off!! Poor work. If you have dreads go elsewhere!!! Quoted one price and when she was done charged me a different price. Will never go back and would not recommend.
