The hotel photos on the website are very deceiving. i used to be a hotel GM and. I know all the tips and tricks. I chose this hotel because it was fairly priced considering the town had something going on and prices were ridiculously high. I wish I would’ve chosen one of those ridiculously high hotels. I hate to say this, but this was an Indian run down hotel. You can tell it was nice at one point, but they have ran into the ground.First thing I did was check the mattress for bedbugs because it definitely gave off that vibe. Lucky for me. There was no signs, but as I kept looking around the room, I could see how dirty it was. It didn’t even appear to be vacuumed.

This was the nastiest and dirtiest hotel I have ever stepped foot in. The elevator was broken, holes in the walls of the bathroom, bugs and roaches everywhere, door hardware in the stairwells and fire exits broken. Stains in the carpet in the room. Horrible smell. Packed my family up and did not end up staying the night. A previous reviewer suggested that the health department should shut this place down and I completely agree. In the process now of disputing the charge on my credit card. I called to voice my concerns and the employee just hung up the phone on me. Zero stars.

The lady at the desk overnight was super nice. The rooms aren’t too bad for a place to sleep just overnight, but the showers weren’t clean. No hot breakfast, found stuff floating at the bottom of my son’s apple juice.

Room was dirty emergency stairwell was closed but not noted on the third floor. paid twenty five dollars per Appeared to be mold in the shower. Floors dirty Waffle machine broke as well as juice machines. I wonder if wyndham ever really reads our reviews. After seeing all these poor and horrible reviews. You think they would? But I guess they only care about the money like most other big businesses. I think I will be looking for a different hotel change from now on.

Staff was very rude. We have a dog and it barked at a stranger when we were checking in. The First thing the manager said was if that dog barks at night I’ll have to ask you to leave -really - and he said it several times again in a very threatening manner. We started to go to the room and he gave us a room the that hadn’t been cleaned yet. After some discussion he finally gave us a refund and we went to another location more concerned about their guests. He has ruined it for all Microtel visits as this may be the type of manager they look for.

Our stay was October 2023 and the hotel did not match the pics online. If you compare this hotel to an extended stay hotel, then it was decent. However, moldy walls, white stained chairs, filthy carpets, dirty tubs, broken lights, glitchy TV, broken elevator etc. are unacceptable. Outside of the accommodations, we also had to deal with poor customer service. Perry P., the front desk clerk was very rude. He did not greet guests. He acted as though someone made him come in for work. He was also preoccupied with work in his personal computer. I had to go back to the front desk after finding out elevator didn’t work to get an operating key card. Perry P. was very rude and during that exchange. I still thanked him and he didn’t reply. I asked if he was ok and he fanned his hands at me like a puppy. I told him that he was rude, he then said go away before he calls the police. This hotel is apart of Wyndham Rewards. If they are ok with places like this, then I want no part of their rewards program.Rooms: The room was not appealing, dirty, moldy and unclean. I wiped everything down with Lysol wipes and thank God I did. It was filthy. Never again!

One star is generous! This place is a fire trap dump. It was NOT the hotel we thought we were reserving. Not clean, holes in wall, stained furniture are only a few. Then the elevator shuts down... and they close one side of the stairs. Front desk... clueless. What a disaster. NEVER MICROTEL AGAIN!!

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at while traveling. The staff were super nice, the beds were comfortable, the room was nice, and the prices are negotiable depending on how long you plan to stay. Strongly recommend to anyone.

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Room was fine size, but not clean. Stained towels and sheets, and THE SMELL!!!! Woke up at 3am to the most rancid, stank I’ve ever whiffed. Idk if it was food or what but we had to make a run for it as soon as possible. Thin walls, could hear literally everything and people going in and out all night long. Mold issue too, could tell my respiratory system was down after only one night.

At first I was actually pleased because of the price and the cleanliness. I brought two nights, on the next morning I’m laying in my pajamas and a man opens the door, no knocks or anything and yells “check out” I went to the front desk and told the owner that I paid for two nights. He said “ you’re good” I’m like ok “but your worker scared me he didn’t even knock” he brushes it off and said “no need for you to be scared”. He offered more towels. I told him yes, I gave him my old towel which had seafood sauce on it, and now he’s angry about his towel. Lol I do not recommend this place. They are not owned my American owners either, so there’s a big lack in hospitality. For the price, yes. But just pay a few more dollars and go elsewhere.Rooms: They’re decentFood & drinks: It’s on a busy highway

It's not nearly as nice is the new Tru By Hilton across the street for not much more money. It is a bit nicer than the Days Inn two doors down. It's a newer building. The exterior looks much nicer, and it's central hallway entry, not outside hallway. the Days Inn rooms are larger, and have recently been remodeled as well. Days Inn charges $20 for a dog, Microtel charges $25.

I want to separate the good and the bad of our experience.Good: Some things in the hotel looked relatively new. They had mattress covers to prevent bed bugs. The bed was decent. The mirror in the bathroom, the ac unit, and the sink, and the lighting fixtures were all updated and nice. It's a microtel so the room will not be large but that's okay. The TV was decent size and looked new. It was pretty quiet once everyone settled down. The location was not too far from the civic center... Maybe 10 minutes.Bad: The stuff that was NOT remodeled was dirty, and outdated. There were drawings, boogers, and what I could only guess was hard cheese on the walls. There was dust everywhere. THERE WAS MOLD ON THE PULLOUT FRAME. They gave us a spray to clean said frame but no pillow for the pullout bed. The excuse was that they had no more.**The black woman up front had a serious attitude problem. You were inconveniencing her no matter what time of day it was. The guy I met seemed like he didn't wanna talk to anyone either. ****The juice at breakfast was watered down until it had more of a tap water than juice taste. THE WAFFLES WERE SOMEHOW HOLLOW. I FILLED THE IRON UP AS RECOMMENDED AND GOT HOLLOW TASTELESS WAFFLES. TASTED LIKE WATER AND FLOUR. The yogurt has a strong sucralose taste which if you don't mind is okay.**

No stars!!!! i actually had to click on one to post. I'm actually sitting in this disgusting hotel, and the deal online came with "no refund". Pics looked nice and clean. Not at all. This hotel is without a doubt in the top of the most smelly, moldy, pet odor, carpet is also disgusting I can't think of a worse word to describe this hotel. The only person in the front, tries the bare minimum not to move and reach for things from her chair, not hospitable at all. Sleep in your car or jump back on i95 and try go elsewhere..yuk.Rooms: Mildew smell gross

Room was just ok but the walls and door in the bathroom were run down. Look like an older hotel that was taken over my Micro. Have stayed in much better Micro hotels . Beds were not that comfortable. Breakfast was nothing to speak about.

Writing simply to provide an honest review for those who are in need of it.. obviously, I can't speak for others but those saying this was a great hotel, that was clean for the price must be so happy that is less than $100/nightly that they aren't considering what truly makes a great stay. 1st off, the hotel is very dated. For some this won't matter but for those who view older models as less sanitary overall, etc. it will. Secondly, the carpets within the room were genuinely filthy. It did appear to be vacuumed but it obviously hasn't been professionally cleaned since its installation. There were SEVERAL, LARGE bright & dull colored stains all over the carpet inside of the room. Considering, they charge a (refundable) $100 deposit fee at entry, I feel this is a small task for them to ensure is done quarterly if not replacing the carpets that are too soiled as a whole. Lastly, was the smell in the vicinity. As soon as we entered the hall of our assigned floor the stench was truly overwhelming. I'm unsure if this a hotel with many long-stay guests or a different issue as I couldn't fathom how such a strong scent managed to linger throughout the hallways. The location of the hotel is great, however there is too much competition to stick with this option unless you are in a terrible bind. Do yourself the favor & look into other options prior to booking here.Walkability: close to many restaurants.
