Had a late lunch/early dinner at Starfire Grill in Florence, SC. They were closed for a while due to a fire. My husband always likes to dine here when in town. We actually went somewhere else, and when Rich found out Starfire was back open, we left and came here.Upon sitting down, he was reminded of the fresh biscuits with honey, that they bring to the table. Take note of video....lol. He thoroughly enjoyed them!! It was my mom's 1st visit, and our server had to bring two rounds of biscuits.I had the cheeseburger sliders with bacon and broccoli ?. The two sliders had regular patty size meat, appreciate that it was just enough for me. Yum!!! Everyone agreed that the broccoli with lemon was delicious. Mom had the patty melt. It was a bit too much cheese for her, but if you like cheese, get it!Rich had the Greek potatoes and onion rings. Nicely sized, generous portion and the onion used were Vidalia onions! So we all left full and enjoyed the meal! Can't leave out her server, Carrie. She was an excellent server. Knowledgeable about menu, attentive, friendly and would ask for her next time we eat there!Glad you're back open Starfire! See you next time!

Good food, very busy night with a party of twelve across from us but our waitress, Heather, was still very attentive to us throughout service. Nice variety on the menu and we ordered extra sides to try them out. Beer, wine and mixed drinks were available. Parking was a bit tight , but ample for the crowd .

Two stars is, unfortunately, very generous of a rating for me to give. Four of us went out at 7pm on a weeknight. They were able to accommodate our request for patio seating, which we we're thankful for, but everything went downhill from there. Each member of our party ordered a water and a drink from the bar, which took 15 minutes to arrive, and then prior to even paying for our meal, the waitress requested our bar glasses back because she was "being rushed to get those back to them." The complimentary rolls were raw in the middle. The 'best pizza dip,' as titled on the menu, was very greasy on the top, as if it had been scooped from a large pan and then popped in the microwave, accompanied with bland store bought tortilla chips. I ordered the Grecian chicken and made a request that the olives be removed (whole olives, by the way, not cut or diced) and was told, "they come in a pre-mixed container, they probably won't take them off but I'll make a note for you anyway." I couldn't imagine if I had asked for them to accommodate one of my food allergies that could literally kill me but the kitchen staff might be too lazy to pop on a pair of gloves and remove something, or even produce a dish that was not premade to accommodate for that. They, in fact, did not remove the whole olives on my dish, but nice to know that even the waitress knew they would not be accommodating. Not a single dish that came out to that table that night was anything above mediocre. Steamed broccoli that was still crunchy on the top, lamb that was unconvincing in its identity, and you can be certain we didn't order dessert (we we're asked after the waitress had already asked if we wanted to separate the bill, and then corrected herself and asked about dessert). Aside from the food, the service was overall mediocre and not attentive. I understand that the waitress had tables inside, but all of your tables should be treated with equal attention, so I can't imagine the service her tables inside were receiving. It's worrying how the kitchen can be able to produce high quality food with so many channels (drive through, dine in + patio, catering, AND food delivery services) and it's just clear that they can't produce quality food. All that for the bill to be just shy of $200 with the tip. I could sit here and list off at least ten other places in Florence with higher quality food and service that wouldn't nearly be that expensive for four people. As a long time food service employee, I don't even want to imagine what that kitchen looks like, because it certainly showed in the quality. Won't be going back.

I cannot tell you how much I have missed this place! I went back for the first time since they reopened and was not disappointed! The food was equally as good as before, and the service was phenomenal. I had the chicken kabob with rice and steamed broccoli and it was delicious!Always great to support a locally family run restaurant. Great food, even better people!

This was one of the worst meals I have ever had. The service felt extremely rushed and she kept asking if we were ready to order our main food without even asking if we all wanted drinks/appetizers. The food was honestly straight out of a kitchen nightmares episode... it felt like it was all microwaved and small portions and for over 20 dollars an entrée not exactly worth it. My pilaf rice tasted like plain white rice, the mahi mahi was also bland and tasted like no seasoning was put on it and straight out of a package. My step dad even said his lamb didn't taste like lamb nor did his steak. My other two party members were equally disappointed. Honestly it felt like there was absolutely no care in anything going on in that restaurant and it was 173 dollars at the end! PLEASE GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

The food was okay, I got the Polynesian chicken and the server described it as being sweet but it was kinda tart there was something not right about the sauce. The cheesecake was better than my dinner but ridiculously overpriced The server checked on us while she was running by barely stopping to hear anything we were saying. The parking lot was HORRIBLE!!!Parking: The parking lot was HORRIBLE!!! It’s so cramped, we could barely park without getting so close to hitting other cars. If you did park without hitting anyone then you had to worry about someone else hitting your car doors whenever they got out of their car. I’ve never seen a parking lot so tiny and cramped.

This was our first dining experience at this location. The atmosphere was very inviting, casual, and newly renovated. Their service was spot on once the right person came along. One young lady was super busy, passive, and unable to assist with general questions or to take our order. The next lady was super friendly, helpful, and patient. The food was okay. There were a lot of items being microwaved prior to being sent out. Seasoning was a hit or miss on various items ordered. Overall, our experience was okay. There is a possibility we will dine again in the future.

The food was fine, and we had fun. It was packed. People had been waiting for this area favorite to reopen, and it's been full ever since it has reopened. Because of this, parking may be scarce.Parking: Parking is tight and scarce when this business is really busy though they have nice sized parking lot. You MAY be able to park next door IF the business is closed.

My dad, sister and I had such a wonderful first time at Starfire this afternoon! It's a good thing we don't live locally-we would be here ALL the time. My dad had to box nearly all of his lunch because he devoured the pizza dip-I was surprised he didn't lick the bowl. Everything that came with the Greek chicken kabob was excellent, and the broccoli cornbread is out of this world! I only wish I had tried it before sharing half with my little sister, because I totally would have kept it all for myself. Safe to say we will be ordering sides of it for everyone next time. We try to visit my sister monthly, and I mentioned trying another restaurant the next time, but my dad quickly shut that idea down with a "we can go back to Starfire." Big shout out to Maddie, who was an excellent server and very attentive!

I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE TONIGHT! THE MANAGER WAS RUDE AND RACIST TO ME AND MY DAUGHTER! I HAVE MY RECIEPT AND REFUSED MY REQUEST FOR REFUND. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! NEVER GOING BACK! VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED. THE MANAGER IN PAST HAS BEEN PLEASANT. IM NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM. I TOLD MY DAUGHTER DONT EVER WORK FOR ANYONE WHO TREATS PEOPLE BADLY. THAT SHOWS YOU HOW PEOPLE WILL PUT ON A FRONT WHILE HATE ALL IN THIER HEART ? I COULD TAKE THIS A WHOLE DIFFERENT ROUTE, BUT I THANK GOD I'VE CHANGED. I WILL LET THE LORD FIGHT THIS ONE. ALL I EVER DID WAS SUPPORT. NEVER AGAIN. JUST WOW!

I would love to give this place five stars, however, finding a strand of hair in my chicken salad is not appetizing and I tend to get sick from their chicken salad for some reason and it's unfortunate because it's tasty.I see the parking has not improved and drive thru is very slow. That needs to be worked on because I've seen an accident. This place is it built for pick up trucks and SUV's. It's hard to get in and get out.
