The repairs on my car seem to have been done well, but the communication, and refund process was a nightmare. I paid $1,400 upfront in July as a self-pay customer, then switched to an insurance claim after the full assessment revealed more damage. I was told my $900 refund (the amount over my $500 deductible) would be returned to my credit card at the end of the repair. While I didn’t understand why it couldn’t be done immediately, I agreed to wait.
When I picked up my car, they claimed a “system issue” and said it would be processed in a couple of days. A week later, I found out the real reason—they don’t process refunds of that size on a card and would have to mail a check. That information should have been communicated from the start, and a check issued at the beginning of this process.
It’s now been over a month, and I’m still waiting for my refund. The lack of upfront honesty and follow-through turned what could have been a positive experience into a frustrating one.

If your car, SUV, truck, needs any kind of body work, you owe it to yourself to take it to Caliber. The whole team gets involved, from the very beginning. First there is Karen, she is were helpful and a joy to work with. The rest of the estimaters, techncians go over your vehicle without pressuring you into something you done need. When they were done with my signifigant other's SUV, it looked brand new.

Manager needs serious Emotional Intelligence Training. I have used this place in the past so I thought I'd use it again when my son's car was hit in an accident. Drop off was easy and Isaiah was very nice and told me that it would probably be 2 weeks because they are short handed. Ok, I figured 2 weeks no problem. My car was there for a month and 4 days when I finally received an automated text from Caliber stating my car would be ready to pick up. Long story short, my car wasn't ready and they wouldn't tell me when I could get it. I explained that I could no longer extend my rental and I'll be out of a car. I asked to speak to the manager who was very aggressive and defensive and did not apologize once for my car being there a month. He didn't even try and act friendly, just proceeded to blame the insurance company for my car being there longer which I know wasn't true because insurance company called the shop on three way to prove they dropped the ball, not insurance. It was Calibers fault because they didn't order all the parts in time after a first set of doors came in damaged, but nobody expressed this to me since I never heard from the shop. I told him I need my car but Manager would not tell me when I could get it or even offer to help me in any way. He told me that since my rental was extended until Monday, he had until then to get the money approved from insurance. I wouldn't get my car until he was paid. That's all he cared about. What a slap in the face. No apologies or even attempt to correct the problem. He figured he'd just run up my rental time and then figure it out. When I told him my car was supposed to be done 2 weeks ago, he just tried to debate me by asking where I got that date if nobody contacted me. I told him that's what they said when I dropped it off. Then when I showed him the automated text I received with pick up date and time being that day. He said he didn't know where that text came from. It was from corporate and had nothing to do with his shop?? Seriously? He had no idea that when he inputs a completion date into the computer, it shoots a message to the customer? He needs some serious training. The insurance company told me this is not how they do business and this shop isn't on their preferred list. Now, I know why. This is the Fort Mill location in SC on 160. Be prepared to fight if you go there. The manager does not handle problems well and lacks any type of customer service training. Hed rather fight you than admit when he's wrong. And he wont attempt to help you when he messes up. I won't be back.

Pleasantly surprised at how quickly my car was repaired. Brandon made the process seamless, kept me informed and was very professional. My car was finished 5 days before the original completion date and it looks great, I highly recommend!

Isiah Sanders has been amazing to work with. He has been incredibly patient. Our vehicle was involved in an accident in the party at fault was uninsured as a result. We’ve had to use our own uninsured motorist coverage. As coordinated with our insurance company we dropped the vehicle off to Isaiah at the Fort Mill location of Caliber Collision. Our insurance company has had repeated delays initially. The Tuesday appointment got pushed back till Friday. The Friday appointment then got pushed back to the next Wednesday. We have been told it will happen tomorrow. That said Isaiah has kept us informed every step of the way and we sincerely appreciate his customer service.
