Fort Mill Prep is absolutely amazing! We have loved this school/Daycare. Every time we dropped our daughter off it was like leaving her with family. The staff all love our daughter and felt save and comfortable leaving her with them. The school is a little different and may not be for everyone but they work with you the best they can and want absolutely the best for your child!I recommend giving them a shot.

My granddaughter loves school, it's very interactive, they see and pet the animals, grow gardens and get to eat the vegetables, Jeanette is fantastic and Christine as well. Ms. Heather is so nice along with the other teachers. Just wish the observation option was available and would like to see what their lunch was for the day as my granddaughter can hardly remember?

This place has the best price but you truly get what you pay for. It was very dirty and chaotic. Granted the staff were friendly, but not the type of environment that I would want my child in for close to 9 hours a day. If you have standards and expect your kids to have a few structural boundaries...keep looking.

All the teachers and staff are absolutely amazing. I feel so safe dropping my son off. He learns something new every single day and he has grown so much since he has started coming here about two years ago.

One or both of my children have been attending Fort Mill Prep for over 4 years now. (My daughter started when she was one and she is now off to Kindergarten). I give this daycare 5 stars, not because they are perfect, because I don't think any daycare ever is perfect, but because I know when I drop off my children every day they are safe and loved. I love that this daycare is very flexible and very non-corporate. They work with each child, family, and teacher to meet their needs. There are some very strong and good teachers at this school, who have loved my kids and taught them well. Ms. Iris is amazing with the infants, she gave me advise without being too pushy with my son when he was an infant. Ms. Agnes is an amazing teacher as well. When my daughter was 3 and 4 she helped her grow and she learned so much that year. Whenever I have a concern they listen and do their best to address my and my children's needs. I love their playground, I love the animals, and the amount of outside time the children get. Love that my kids are tired, happy, healthy and dirty at the end of the day because that's what little people should be. Now if there is one area they could improve on it would be communication (especially among different levels of staff), however when that is a minor frustration that I can deal with since I know that my kids are learning and being loved on while I am at work.

I am so glad I enrolled my 4 boys into this daycare, ages 8, 5, 4 and 2. I've have had the most fabulous experience with Fort Mill Preparatory. I love the facility, love the teachers and the home like environment. Let's talk about the awesome playground and farm animals. This daycare has chickens! It's everything I've always wanted for my boys all in one place. I feel they have learned so much and look forward to going everyday. They do arts and crafts everyday and are constantly enriching my boys. The teachers are amazing and so loving towards the children, my boys are greeted with warm hellos each morning. They are providing my boys with a stimulating, well rounded curriculum. I'd like to thank their star staff for always working with me. I cannot thank them enough. If you're in the market for a daycare, don't go by price alone because you don't always get what you pay for in those large centers. Thank YOU Fort Mill Preparatory school!

Fort Mill Prep- a preschool with true heart! I was a stay at home mom for 7 years, and when I chose to return to the workforce, one of my big concerns was finding a daycare that would provide an enriching, nurturing, and caring environment where my children could blossom and still experience the best of childhood. I did not want my children in an antiseptic, institutionalized environment where I felt they were just cogs in a corporate daycare. I toured many daycares/preschools in the area and was very disappointed until I found Fort Mill Preparatory School. The moment I walked onto Fort Mill Prep's campus and toured the cozy, inviting classrooms, I knew I had found the perfect school for my children. The classrooms are stocked with they type of toys that promote and encourage hours of open-ended imaginative play. The entire room is designed around inspiring creativity, learning and imagination in ways that engage all the children's senses. The curriculum is play-based, hands-on learning that is fun and effective. The children are not only learning, but they are connected to the natural world through the many animals on site. There are chickens, and a miniature horse (and some others) outside, a Frog tank in the lobby, and my child has a bearded dragon in his classroom. Not only do the children get to observe the animals and learn to appreciate the environment, but they learn responsibility as well. This school also has a stellar nutrition program when all children are fed fresh foods made right on site. Everything is homemade, the children are not fed any processed junk, and there is an emphasis on clean eating and lots of healthy fruits and vegetables. Their food program has really expanded my child's palate and he now eats foods he wouldn't even try at home, because he sees all of his friends enjoying the healthy meals. I also cannot say enough good things about the staff, they are all so professional and kind. There is also very little staff turnover at this school, especially compared to other daycares in the area. The dedication of the staff to the school and its mission tells you a lot about the type of education and care your child will receive, which is only top notch at Fort Mill prep.

I have one child that attends this school, I personally feel that this is a great school when It comes down to learning! my kid is 3 years old and I tried signing her up for public school, with the Head Start program. They turned her away claiming that she knew too much and that they wanted to give the spot to a child who needs the extra help. While I was disappointed it showed me just how much my child is learning here at this school and she had also improved on her social skills as well. Her vocabulary has broadened so much since she's been attending. I would really recommend this daycare to anyone!

My son has been going here for about 2 years now and I appreciate how all of the teachers love him and work with him and his needs. He has learned SO much. He has a certain allergy and they started providing food he is able to eat instead of me packing his lunch everyday. My 5 month old started going here a little over a week ago as well and I just love the way his teachers interact with him. They do learning activities even with the babies! Another perk of this school is that they use the app Brightwheel which updates you on your child's day, what they eat, nap time, pictures and even when diapers are changed. Very comforting knowing I can check on them all day. Recommended !!

We have really enjoyed our time at Fort Mill Prep. My son loves his teachers and you can see they genuinely love the kids. The staff is extremely accommodating and understanding. They’re always planning something new and fun for the kids to do. If you’re looking for a down to earth vibe with great people this is the place for you.

My boys have been going there since they started walking. They love their teachers and have made many friends! Some people work just to make a paycheck, and that is NOT the case here. These ladies, and young man truly care about the children!

This is a fabulous preschool and after school care for children! When I first adopted my great nephews I found this school. The teachers, staff, owner all were excellent to work with. I had never had children in daycare or after school before, my older children were home schooled so there was not a need. When I adopted my nephews at age 3 and 8 there became a need. So the experience was wonderful, I am very particular whom my children stay with. They provide a very nutritional breakfast and lunch for the students and snacks as well! Our experience was a wonderful experience. I am still in contact with the owner, she is such a beautiful Godly woman, and is always blessing the community with her charity work in giving of food, clothing and many other charitable contributions she makes.. she has blessed so many and teaches others to do the same..I am fortunate to have had this school for my children. So feel confident in leaving your children, they will be well taken care of and loved!

This is an amazing facility! My nephew attends and has for over a year. When I return to work, my children will go here as well. I have worked at another local daycare in the past, as well as after school programs in other areas, and nothing compares to the caring nature of the staff at Fort Mill Prep. They participate in the Farm to Table program and serve fresh, local foods. It is a positive and encouraging environment. They whole heartily work with the children and parents to overcome any obstacles. Since it is a co-op many parents are involved and it makes a huge difference. There are festivals/parties throughout the year that extended family can come to. Just a great community feel.

We love this school. My six year entered kindergarten and made a perfect score on her entrance exam thanks to Fort Mill Prep. They asked where she attended preschool at, and when I told them they said lots of kids from Fort Mill Prep come in super prepared. Our 2nd daughter has been there since she was 3 months old, she is now 2, and loves going to school everyday. Sadly when I read some these reviews I saw that people had personal financial issues and are blaming that on the school. That is sad. This place is like no other school In the area, believe me I checked out lots of places. The live animals on site, add such a cool "country living" element. Would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a true preschool, where your child learn and flourish!
