Excellent service, fair prices, and a very pleasant atmosphere. I especially like that Christian music is playing in the office. I usually drive across the whole city to service my car with these guys, and they always give a coupon for a free car wash. Thank you 🤝

I can’t say enough good things about Shell Rapid Lube and Service Center! From the moment I pulled in, I felt welcomed and taken care of like family. This isn’t your typical quick-service shop — it’s clear they genuinely care about their customers and the work they do.
The team here is professional, knowledgeable, and extremely thorough. They explained everything in simple terms, didn’t try to upsell me on things I didn’t need, and made sure I understood exactly what was being done to my vehicle. That kind of honesty is rare these days, and it’s why I’ll be coming back again and again.
You can tell this is a **family-owned shop** because they treat your car and your time with respect. Service was fast but never rushed, and the attention to detail was impressive. The shop is clean, organized, and runs like a well-oiled machine (pun intended).

Not again. When they say that they get all the brake fluid exchanged. They only pump the reservoir fluid out with out bleeding the line. When I asked them prior of starting work if all fluid is exchanged they said yes. It was a lie. Not nice.

I went for wheel alignment. It was done in around 20-30 min. Quick. After I drove off, my cars’ drive felt exactly the same. Nothing had changed. It was still drifting to the right side. I called them and they asked me to come back. When I go there, the mechanic told me that there might be suspension issue. To me it felt like no work was done on the car. I asked for the hardcopy record of the alignment and to my surprise he told me that they never keep the alignment records and it is deleted after the alignment. I have been provided the alignment record in the past from other workshops. There was no way to know the alignment did happen. I don’t think I will take my car again to Shell Rapid Lube and Service center on Tom Hall Street.

Having learned the previous Management's Son has taken over day-to-day operations there's definitely hope for better service in the future. That alone is good enough for 3 to 4 Stars off the bat. After another service visit there will likely be another updated review.

Not what it used to be. I myself worked there. Unless you are using the parking lot to turn around avoid this place at all costs. They messed up multiple things on my car and my mom’s. The old mechanic is no longer there and the new one is a YouTube mechanic.

Great little spot for doing rapidly quick service! It took around 10-15 minutes and the oil change came up to around $50. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. Note that they up sale for other things such as a filter replacement for extra money but it's just for business. I'm glad I wasn't forced to buy it. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a local spot to do a car wash or oil change around the Fort Mill area.

Under new management. Do not take your vehicle here. Jim is no longer there. For eight years, I took my cars to Shell Rapid Lube and Jim for everything. Was always treated with the utmost respect, honesty and civility. I trusted Jim implicitly because he and his mechanics earned it. Never had a problem with any of their repairs--from minor to major. That was then. This is now. Just had the worst-ever experience with the new management and mechanics. So, I did my research, and have moved on to a reputable and ethical car repair organization. I suggest that anyone reading this does the same.
