“We love going to Dorr Farm. The family that runs the farm is very friendly and sweet. We go every year around strawberry season to pick strawberries. They’ve added even more activities over the years for the kids and family to enjoy. This year, we participated in the helicopter egg hunt for their Easter event. The kids had a blast despite the heat and crowd.
I work in customer service and will appreciate service over anything when I’m out and about. Due to the event and the crowd, we had to park further from the farm and at the end of day, kids was stating to drag as we made our way back to the car under the beaming sun. One of the ladies that worked there saw that we were dragging and said she can have someone drop us off by our car. We declined not wanting to trouble her but as we walked a bit further, someone driving the cart saw us and offer to drop us off so we didn’t have to walk. It really is just the small jester of kindness and care. If you have kids and have not visited Dorr Farm, you should plan a day out there and let the kids run off some steam. You will have a great time for sure!
Thank you for throwing such a fun event and giving families a great way to spend time together. To the young lady with the rainbow pants that worked there today, thank you for dropping us off by our car!”
