Friendly and nice people. Very good with people's pets. The doc knew what was wrong with my dog as soon as I sat her on the table. I was there for maybe 20mins.

Best vet in the area! Everyone there is friendly and helpful! They take care of your fur babies and are almost guaranteed to have you in and out. Also, the prices are super reasonable. And the flea pill works wonders on my pit...for 3 months!

Most people around here love and trust Dr. Grant to properly treat their pets. I've taken mine there before and left very pleased. There's just about always a person who leaves a negative review of a business on Yelp that's done maybe one review and I don't take those in account when searching for any place. That's happened here also. This is most definitely a veterinarian office where you can be confident that you pet gets the proper treatment they need and deserve.

Hours are a little odd. The hospital opens about 1hr before the vet is actually there. How or why the place opens in the morning without a vet there I don't know.A friends dog returned home with a broke leg some how. They came out to the car with a "stretcher" to carry the dog in. Vet was friendly, explained the injury, the options, and the exact cost of the options. The price was very reasonable and affordable especially considering they would have to sedate the dog then dogsit him all day until we was allowed to pick him up close to closing time.

Dr. Grant is not the best around, he’s good when it comes to certain things but not dogs. My nana has a frenchie that she’s took to him twice withinin 2 weeks. Dr Grant just gave him medication & pushed him out the door. My nana took her frenchie to another vet & it’s serious things wrong with her frenchie that Dr. Grant said wasn’t there . if you love your animals don’t take them there !!!

Doctor Grant has always taken excellent care of my animals. My Chihuahua attacked the rottweiler next door and needed 10 staples. She received outstanding care and she is perfectly fine just about 2 months afterwards.

Why would otherwise reasonable pet owners drive an hour from Rock Hill to Gaffney for a vet appointment? Well, the short answer is it has EVERYTHING to do with the service and care delivered by Cherokee County Animal Hospital, but Dr. Grant and his staff desire much more than a brief review.Late last week, our 14-year-old Dachshund somehow injured herself in a way that caused her to draw-up her right front leg. When we discovered this the following morning, I called our Rock Hill veterinary practice (BOTH locations) and they could not see us or work us in. Although we had been using them since we had relocated from Gaffney to Rock Hill for work (3 years), their only suggestion was to take our dog to one of the local ER vets. Having gone this route once before with a seriously-injured cat, my wife and I knew these facilities can be quite expensive. Now that we are retired, and our Dachshund was still eating & drinking (although basically immobile), my wife & I decided to see how she did through the weekend.Seeing little improvement come Monday, I called back to our Rock Hill vet, who said the earliest they could see us was the following Tuesday – EIGHT DAYS! Being an established customer apparently meant nothing to this practice.Anxious to have our Dachshund examined, but still resisting going to the ER, I happened to recall that Cherokee County Animal Hospital, where we had taken our pets when we lived in Gaffney, didn't accept appointments, but operated on a walk-in basis. We trusted Dr. Grant, and we knew he was reasonably-priced, so my wife and I decided to make the 45-mile drive to Gaffney.Arriving just before the start of Dr. Grant's afternoon hours, the receptionist was friendly and compassionate. Although we no longer had records on-file as existing/previous customers, the receptionist happily filled-out a new record and jotted down the medical situation with Dachshund. As she was finishing-up the intake form, Dr. Grant called us back. Amazingly, our one-hour drive to Cherokee County Animal Hospital had been rewarded with NO WAITING!After hearing my wife and I recount what had happened to our dog, Dr. Grant (along with his tech), completed a short exam and determined that, most likely, our Dachshund, despite being an inside dog, had pinched a nerve in her neck which was causing her to not use her right front leg. To say that my wife and I were relieved, would be a HUGE understatement! On the drive over to see Dr. Grant, my wife and I were concerned our Dachshund’s injuries, coupled with her advanced age, might just be life-ending. Instead, Dr. Grant prescribed a steroid regimen for Dachshund, clipped her toenails, and had erased the worst fears my wife and I had concerning our dog’s medical condition. The three of us were on our way back home in less than half the time it took us to drive from Rock Hill to Gaffney! My wife and I have already decided that Cherokee County Animal Hospital is well-worth the one-hour drive because we know when we arrive, we can count on Dr. Grant and his staff to treat us (and our pets) with respect and compassion unlike anything we have found closer to home in Rock Hill.
