“There are few places left that treat you like one of their own.
Context: Thanksgiving trip from AL to VA-9 hours. Passenger rear blowout on I85 northbound at about 4:15. We are missing the wheel lock key. They close at 5.
Shawn(hope I spelled that right) answered and went to work asking if a mechanic would stay late while she sent Clay and Justin to pick me and my family up. Jerry, Warren’s grandson, stayed late to start changing the tire.
We had a decision to make. 1 tire, 2 tires or put the spare on. We decided for one in case something else happened. After I’ve paid, Warren comes to let me know it’s all worse than we thought. Out of a genuine fear of safety he showed me that the other three tires were ready to blowout because of increasing splits along the outer wall/tread.
Jerry and another mechanic, whose name I forgot to ask (sorry!), stayed until almost 7 to make sure we were safe to get back on the road. Best 1500 I have ever spent and I couldn’t be more grateful for their team and the culture Warren has built since 2001.
If I could get all our work done on our two vehicles here, I would. Don’t hesitate to trust them. As a former auto repair manager, these people are the real deal.

I was recently near Blanton’s Wrecker Service and noticed they had a steady flow of customers, which usually means they’re reliable. The lot looked well-organized, and their trucks appeared in good condition. While I didn’t personally need a tow, it seems like a place that’s ready to help when needed. If I ever do require wrecker services, I’d consider giving them a call.”
