Located in historic Georgetown, SC, the Kaminski House Museum offers guided tours and is available for weddings and event rentals. The property is described as very pretty, gorgeous, and a very upstanding and historical area. Tours are absolutely amazing and beyond expectation, with visitors feeling as if they have gone back in time. The tour guides are very informative, friendly, kind, and provide an incredible understanding of the property and the times it reflects. Special accommodations, like private tours, are made with great care. The grounds are a memorable location for events, featuring a beautiful lawn, terrace, front porch, and access to the harbor walk. It only takes about an hour to see the whole property but it's worth it. Afterwards, visitors can hop on the boardwalk next door to find plenty of great restaurants and shops. The museum shop is also open for visitors.

The docent was so knowledgeable and inclusive of everyone on the tour. Lovely house, beautifully maintained, truly interesting history. I was invested fully from start to finish - which with my ADHD is rare. Highly highly recommend.

It is a beautiful home with the original furnitures left behind by the donor. Our tour guide Sue did a great job to tell the story of the couple. A must see musuem in Georgetown historical district. It is worth your time and an entry fee of $12 or $10 for seniors.
