I don't want to wait 20 minutes to only buy a few things ever again! Running errands should not feel like pulling teeth

As of recent months the pharmacy has closed more than usual. Very alarming, the staff seems to be consistent so what is the issue? Shortage of pharmacists.
For the days that they are open, I see the same young, black pharmacist and I want to thank her personally for coming to work with these unfortunate circumstances. I appreciate all the young black ladies back there that come to work and deal with some of these ungrateful, nasty people. I’m sure if all you have to do is complain, knowing their situation when they provide other options, they would prefer for you to go somewhere else

A family member needed their medicine for a chronic illness and the two girls that was working on 2/14/25 at noon time showed no interest in finding their medicine. My family member left and got their doctor to call the prescription in to a better pharmacy. PLEASE IF UPPER MANAGEMENT IS READING THIS, PLEASE HAVE A MEETING WITH YOUR PHARMACY STAFF.

Please DO NOT count this one star. Because y'all deserve NOTHING. I call in for my medicine on Monday and was told it would be ready on Wednesday. Today is Friday and those rude people that works there told me that they have to look through the orders. I DO NOT understand why I have an issue every month with this pharmacy. I decided to call my cardiologist and transfer my prescription to a BETTER pharmacy. Y'all NEED TO HIRE A BETTER STAFF.

A rule I try to live by is to limit the amount of time I engage with pharmacies and insurance companies, because it inevitably ends in disappointment or despair.Pharmacies seem busier than ever, so I try to keep my expectations measured. The staff are capable, and the store is generally well kept. My chief concerns are twofold:First, there are times when this pharmacy is closed so that its staff can help out at another store in Pawleys Island. That really puts into perspective their opinion of their Georgetown customers. Clearly we don’t matter as much as the folks up the road.Second, and I’m not sure if this is a HIPAA violation, but the pharmacy staff often will yell out the name of a customer’s medication. I’ve stood in line and have been appalled by the lack of confidentiality. Maybe I don’t want the two people in line behind me to know my father takes prescription X.

Do not use this pharmacy. If you expect to be able to get your medication‘s on time and for your insurance to pay for it when you know your prescriptions are good.

Arrived at 11:58 AM on a Saturday and sign on door said, "Sorry for the inconvenience. We will open at 12 PM". No biggie. We waited until 12:05 PM and then left... other people were waiting too. One guy was banging on the door as we left. Went to the local CVS and it was open.

They constantly screw things up, don’t have stuff ready, ask you to come back or come inside. Last time they screwed up on two counts.I haven’t ever filled the generic version on one of my scripts due to issues with dosage and effectiveness of the generic. Filled name brand over a dozen times without issue until the last time where they screwed up.I’m done. I’d drive to Pawleys or Mount Pleasant before having another prescription filled here.
