Gilbert Community Park is a beautiful, clean, and peaceful park. It is a great place to enjoy the outdoors with kids, feels safe, and has a wonderful atmosphere. The park features many paved walking trails, a playground, and very large, clean picnic areas under big pavilions. It is shaded, quiet, and a dog-friendly place for a nice walk. There is ample parking. The park hosts well-organized festivals and celebrations, like a peach festival and a 4th of July event, which are an all-day experience. These feature lots of vendors, crafts, food trucks, rides, car shows, awesome music bands, and great firework displays. A noted inconvenience is that the park's restrooms are locked unless reserved for an event, with no general access. Also, more shade covers by the playground would be helpful during the harsh summer sun.
Great place to picnic, hike and walk your dogs. Seasonal activities.

Really nice park. Great place to enjoy the outdoors with the kids. Clean and feels safe. No access to bathrooms which is a huge inconvenience especially when you are potty training and lessens the amount of time you can spend as a family. Otherwise great.
