“4.8/5Overall for a DOD installation gym this place is set. Tons of brand new equipment paired with staff who is extremely friendly and willing to answer your questions. A few places in the gym need some updating as it is a fairly old building however that doesn't detract from its purpose and the enjoyability of the facilities.”

“Not as snazzy as its Summerville counterpart, but it gets the job done! While the Goose Creek location has just the basics like cardio machines and free weights, they're actually better compared to the ones in Summerville. For example, they have a Concept2 for erging, which is ideal for rowing, whereas the one in Summerville has a Stairmaster erg machine, which is an uncommon brand and doesn't have all the features that Concept2 has. If I need to go straight to working out, I'll just go to Goose Creek, but if I need a thorough warm up and recovery in the sauna, then I'll go to Nexton/Summerville.”

“By far the best commercial gym I have ever joined. The owners Houston and Liberty clearly take fitness and their role as business owners seriously, and that is reflected by the quality of their facilities and equipment.The weights and machines are bulletproof, well built, and well maintained. Many pieces are American made. There are ample free weights and specialty machines for any training style from general fitness, bodybuilding, strength training, even equipment for Olympic lifts and Crossfit. If a machine has ever been down for maintenance, it's never been for more than a couple of days and they frequently add new or upgraded equipment. I have trained bodybuilding and powerlifting for nearly 10 years and I can do 100% of my workouts plus cardio at Anytime.The facilities are always clean and current members generally do a good job of cleaning up after themselves. A crowd may crop up around 5AM or 5PM, but this is typical for any gym at peak hours. I typically never have to wait for a machine, and members are polite enough to work around or work in with. Anytime is key fob, members only access. This keeps people from rolling in off the street and ruining your experience at the gym. Considering most other gyms will let just anyone in to potentially make a mess or wreck equipment, this is a huge plus.Anyone with gripes over their membership, fees, or customer service either wasn't paying attention when they signed up or didn't read their contract. Yes Anytime is slightly more expensive than some big box gyms in the area, but you get what you pay for (better equipment, cleaner facilities, smaller crowd). Any time I have had an account issue or needed to address my membership, I have always gotten a prompt e-mail or phone response from Ryan or another employee for assistance. The gym also participates in Toys for Tots, 9/11 memorial stair climbs, and other community and charity events. These guys not only offer a great environment to train, but they make a genuine effort to engage with their community.Overall, it's a killer spot run by owners who care about their members and their business. You do sign a contract, and it is after all, a business. If you can't commit to your own fitness, don't sign a contract then try to get out of it 8 months later. This is a damn good gym run by fine people. If you're committed to getting and staying in shape, these guys have your back.”
