New owners are making it difficult for anyone to stay for an extended amount of time. Management is extremely rude but front desk personnel try to make up for it and are still very respectful and kind. This place was a great place to stay at one time, lt felt like family... Now it feels like a very dysfunctional family and once you leave you don't want to come back.

Stayed here for 2months , staff are friendly down home folk. They got a wonderful breakfast and the dining room is clean! The coffee could be a bit stronger but the pots always full. The rooms are good clean no critters. Very pet friendly my dog is a big guy and he enjoyed the dog park area. Location is close to Spartanburg as well as downtown Greenville of course.Rooms: Clean the ladies an hotel guys do good.Nearby activities: Top golf next door..Safety: Never a concern with feeling safe.Food & drinks: Great breakfast . Love the gravy and taters.Noteworthy details: Dog park.

It seems to me that Best Western utilizes their prime location too much as a reason to choose this motel. The rooms are too often in disrepair that isn't expensive to repair. They wait until the furniture becomes a safety hazard to replace. I think that Best Western should consider a big remodel and update of this hotel so that it's upgraded to a Best Western Plus. They would probably be a No Vacancy hotel much of the time. Why wouldn't they want that?Rooms: The rooms don't reach that cozy quality that most look for in a hotel. The potential is definitely there but such things as reluctance to replace or update the furniture, quality of most of the furniture, comfort of chairs and other seating, quality of the refreshments provided in the room, attention to ice makers and vending for more and better quality. The company certainly knows how to accomplish allergies of this as evidenced by the Greenville Best Western Plus on Congaree.Nearby activities: Plenty to do that involves very little driving.Safety: A bit sketchy and even more worrisome are the number and attitude of the police presence. My few encounters and the stories from others involved unnecessary rudeness, assumptions based solely on you being a guest of the hotel. If a police officer approaches you, they have pigeon holed you as a shady person doing illegal things. It just seems like overkill though I don't really know how bad things are and possibly it's a good thing. I checked this hotel as "Kid-friendly" but that's just because there always seems to be a disproportionate number of 11 - 16 year old boys and girls and they seem to run in packs. Personally that gives me more pause than any other single observable cause for safety concerns.Walkability: It's best to have a car through there are a few options that are walkable. Getting in the heart of local activity calls for some kind of motorized vehicle.Food & drinks: A good number and variety of places to eat as well as parks and outdoor locations to relax in a casual setting. As noted before, the location is very good!

This place should not be called a hotel, A roadside motel is better than that. Toilet clogged, roaches, smell of smoking weeds coming from other rooms, trash outside bedroom doors, cigarette buts, cups, trash on parking lot all kind of lower class people. You would have a sense that you're in a lower-class Mexican hotel, and I have a sense that management is satisfied the way things are. Don't b fooled by the price, if you have a decent family with kids, definitely don't go there.

Best Western was Probably the Best hotel I've stayed in in awhile, and I've stayed in 4-5 different ones on and off, just since Summer time alone, so i have a good many other's to compare it to. I would say I ONLY had 2 complaints. Make sure toilets flush properly so they don't take "forever" to finally flush, and throw away or please clean the chairs at the table in the room for you to set at when they are stained, dirty or gross. Some things you just can't get out of your head. Lol! But every employee and everything else there was very nice and clean!! And the free breakfast area was set up very nice and was also very clean. ... Thanks guys!! I will come back and will recommend your hotel to anyone in need of 1.Nearby activities: There is just about anything close by that you could think of needing or wanting while you stay at BW and, .. for the entire family!, .. all within just minute's either way you go. And a Waffle House practically in part of their parking lot. VERY CONVENIENT !!! Loved that!

I got stuck overnight due to a flight problem so the airline put me up here. Wasn't great--bugs in the room, super creaky bed, AC unit wouldn't adjust properly so the room was too hot. It wasn't so bad that I wouldn't have been able to deal with it if I had to stay there longer, but definitely some compromises lodging here. Breakfast was good and the workers were friendly though.

Good for the price, housekeeping missed a day which left us without towels and toilet paper, shower and bed are good, TV quality could be better. Staff nice. Location good.

Im not sure how these reviews area so good. There is lots of rif raff here, people sitting in their cars and staring and hollering out the window. The rooms are clean and the staff is nice but the people staying here are another story. I was awoken to loud arguing for hours followed by loud sex noises, hot mess!! Also the toilets don’t flush and will cause a whole mess. Don’t say you haven’t been warned.

I cab not say enough about my positive experience here . I showed up without a reservation and Stephanie was quick to help. I has drove 3 1/2 hours from knoxville tennessee in the middle of the night with my Chihuahua who had been diagnosed with cancer. I was trying to get to Upstate Veterinary Medical Center. They told me to come back the next day so I needed a place to stay. I walked in crying and upset and not knowing what to do. There were other hotels close but I did not have 150.00 or more to spend. Stephanie found a room for me to check into early and allowed me to check out at noon. Mt husband and I have traveled all over the south and stayed in hotels and condos. This was as nice as any place we have payed 1000 to stay. I had to return the following week for 3 days for radiation for my fur baby. Once again Stephanie was wonderful. Everyday I saw men working around the grounds, cleaning the pool, pressure washing the sidewalk and building, mowing, weedeating. Breakfast was gravy, biscuits, sausage, waffles, veryfood. Housekeeping staff very friendly. Only complaint Mt sheets were a little stained . When I checked out there was another lady there but I did not get her name. She was very friendly as well. We have to return on the 31st of this month for my baby's check up and I've already made my reservation. Every check up she needs we will be there . Thank you so much Stephanie for your your kindness ❤️
