Brandon Mill was built in 1901 and is on the National Register of Historic Places in Greenville. Like several of the former mills on the list it has been converted into apartments, helping to preserve the landmark. In the early 1900s mill baseball teams were popular and Shoeless Joe Jackson started his baseball career playing for the Brandon Mill.

Horrible company. They stole my reservation payment. They told me they had an apartment available, made me pay for the application fee and reservation fee, and then called one day after the refund was expired and said they didn't have the apartment. They basically stole the money. They also set up an erenter insurance policy for me and didn't tell me and I was being charged for it for months until I caught it. This place has stolen over $600 from me and I never even lived there. Horrible management, horrible manager, and really rude on the phone. They would not admit that they lied to me about having an available apartment. They did not care at all. They did all this during a pandemic. How do you steal from people trying to find a home in this economic environment. Terrible people and terrible company. I'll be posting this review everywhere that I can for them.

We do not live here, but we're potential residents. Stopped by to check the place out and were treated very rudely by the girl in the office. She clearly didn't want to be bothered with a tour, and raced through it without asking for any contact information for follow up. They must not be terribly interested in future residents. After a weekend of apartment hunting and hoping this would be a wonderful option, this was extremely disappointing.

Our move into the loft was very smooth. Victoria and Anastasia were exceptional. Neighbors are friendly. Parking is not an issue. Some great amenities.

The units themselves are beautiful and the common areas are too - but getting very dated quickly. The upkeep is lacking and units suffer from mold and leaks on a very regular basis. I moved into a filthy unit that was vacant for one moth +. Renter beware and make sure your terms are right. I have roaches and water and mold.

Ana & Victoria were very helpful throughout our move-in process. The property is cleaned daily. The amenities and grounds provide lots of opportunity for fun and/or relaxation. The property has done everything possible during the pandemic to ensure cleanliness and safety for its residents.

Proceed with caution while deciding on a "Pegasus Residential" owned apartment complex. If customer/client service is a feature that is important to you & your family, stay far away. If a resident has an issue that goes beyond a day to day maintenance issue, your property manager will provide you with the robotic phrase, "It's out of my control" or "I don't make the decisions". Instead of a dissertation, illustrating the litany of issues associated with MY EXPERIENCE I will leave you with this; you will REGRET spending your hard earned money supporting a business where CUSTOMER SERVICE is LAST on the priorities list, where direct & basic communication is absent & their advertisement of "Luxury Living" fails to find any similarity or parallel with the definition of "luxury".

I have dealt with a ton of disrespect from the manager Victoria. In addition to these issues, my apartment has flooded several times and management has done nothing to A. Help try fix the issue and B. Show any concern or recognize that there is an issue. When I talked to the front office about it Victoria was very quick to insinuate that my roommate and I were LYING about the issue. When I addressed that I felt we needed to be compensated such as maybe part of rent being deducted, Victoria's response was "Well. We wont be doing that because that's what renters insurance is for" A couple of other things: The fire alarms have been going off more in the last 2 months than they have in the last 4 years that I've lived here. As if the excruciatingly loud noise wasn't miserable enough, they've been going off at 4 and 6 am. On top of everything else, myself and other adult residents using the pool on a Sunday afternoon were SCREAMED at like a bunch of children for being there when the pool was "closed" mind you, there was no email, no phone call, and no sign saying the pool was closed for the day. I hate that it's come to this but after seeing this post I needed to share my stories. Unfortunately these are just the major events that I can recall this does not include the COUNTLESS instances where I have been blatantly disrespected or just straight up uncared for as a paying resident. It makes me so sad that the place that I have loved to call home for almost 4 years has turned into such a terrible place to live. I absolutely do NOT recommend living here. ESPECIALLY for a monthly price of a minimum of $1400

A few months ago, Pegasus Residential bought this beautiful building that previously managed wonderfully. These managers are the worst. They cut maintenance staff down to a skeleton crew of two (These two guys work hard and are super helpful, but there is no way they can keep up). Since Pegasus took over the front door is literally hanging off of the hinges. I found a spent bullet round on the front steps. The mulch in the dog areas is so barren that dirt is showing through. The pool and grill area fills with non-tenants on the weekends, and the shower in the pool area does not work, so these people are not even showering off before diving in. Moreover, these outsiders eat in the pool, and food drops into the water. The hallway my apartment is located on fills with pot smoke nightly so thickly it is visible and smells terrible. As per the pot, I was told by the community manager, Victoria, to call 911 to respond to the smokers. I pay to live in a smoke-free building. I would never consider first responders to deal with my landlord's inability to select or manage tenants. I have notified management, and it would be hard for them to care any less. To add insult to injury, Pegasus has grossly increased rents.

We lived at the WVL's for 2 years (2016-2018). Aesthetically, the place is beautiful. The company did a beautiful job restoring this old mill. It is conveniently located near down town and walking distance to several restaurants. That's about all the good I can say. -In the first couple of months living at the WVL's the maintenance people came in to spray some holes with insulation. They did so over the closet and did not cover my clothes. They ruined a rain coat and 2 suitcases. They did reimburse but I was not able to find the raincoat to replace the one I had (which was new.) -Enjoying the pool on the weekends was a joke because there were way too many people there "guests" using the pool who did not live there. (there are only suppose to be 2 guests allowed per tenant.) So those who actually paid to have this amenity could not even find a place to sit. -Taking children to the pool area on the weekends was rarely an option due to the crowds, drinking, bottles in the pool area, loud raunchy behavior and language. - We called after hours security almost every weekend (and some weekdays) due to partying in the game room until all hours of the night. Many cases til 2-3am. Quiet hours 10pm-7am were not enforced, especially in the game room. There were times when there was multitude of people present who did not live at WVL using the amenities that the tenants paid for and it also gave them open access to our living areas. Some even sleeping in the areas. - We lived next door to fighting neighbors and heard things that we really didn't want to hear almost every weekend. - Barking dogs at all hours of the night. -People let their dogs pee and p*** in the elevator or pee on the walls or outside furniture. There were days we could barely walk our dog on the grass for all the p**** And the "all dogs must be leashed" was not enforced either. We did not feel that we were afforded the basic right to peaceful enjoyment of our home while we lived there. So disappointing. We paid our fees on time, every month for 2 years and when we moved they would not even return our deposit because we moved out 7 days early, "broke the lease agreement". Really?! We essentially gave them a week ahead of schedule for the new tenants to move in.
