Easiest car buying experience ever, the staff was beyond professional and helpful, Chad Grosset was awesome. Even though it was a used Audi, they still treated us like it was a new Mercedes. This place is the hood standard for what a dealership should be. When it comes time to buy another vehicle, Carlton Motors will be my first stop.

Thank you for the excellent service that I received during the order and purchase of my 2023 EQB. This car is perfect for me. Each person that I had contact was courteous, kind and professional. Again, thank you for your service.I look forward to my yearly car service and continued conversations as needed. It was by far the best experience that I have had with a car dealership.

Recently I called to get a quote for some services on my car and was snubbed because my car is over ten years old. I was told they start cutting their customers off around the ten year old vehicle mark especially for repairs. This response was completely unprovoked, all I asked was that I get a quote. I wasn’t even offered a quote. I guess they knew who I was and they knew they couldn’t fix my car the last time I came in so they didn’t want me there. I have had my car in for service here many times, and every time there is always an issue with something. I am not an unkind customer, but I guess since I don’t have a new lease vehicle to bring in for service I’m treated lesser. Or maybe you guys only know how to do lease vehicle work like oil changes and filters, the basics. I guess if you’re getting basic work done to your car you might be oblivious to how bad this place is actually ran. Last time I brought my car in I was told they did a “diagnosis” of my complaint which was the car had a lack of power. I was turned away then and had to foot a $200 diagnostic charge for nothing. I should not have tried to even call again recently. Took my car to a different shop and the issue was fixed within two days with oem parts for half the cost and better expertise. The only reason I even considered coming back is because Carlton is right near my house and the other shop is 30 minutes away. These guys had my car for a week and couldn’t fix it and charged the dealer premium to top it off. Don’t let these amateur technicians tell you anything. Also I checked my dash cam after service and I don’t appreciate your techs badmouthing me to other techs because you thought my car didn’t have any real issues and I was just complaining. Another person on here left a review with the exact same experience after checking his dash cam. Two customers in a row, you guys are on a roll!

We worked with Hampton Byrd and it was a great buying experience. He kept us informed and helped to resolve any issues quickly. Even after the purchase he reached out to make sure everything was going well. They also made sure my family was well taken care of when they had to stop by with me and helped show my wife how to work any of the features she had questions with.

I had never purchased a Mercedes-Benz before. I had always considered them out of my price range. I discovered a variety of levels, and our salesperson Phillip helped find us find a GLC 3000 suv that fit our needs and budget. He provided great customer service and made us feel as though he really cared about our being comfortable and satisfied. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. I recommend Carlton Motorcars Mercedes.

I can't say enough about Mike and the gang in the parts department at Carlton Mercedes Benz. I have been restoring a '97 E320 over the past few years and have purchased parts online. I found Carlton's prices more affordable or comparable, the delivery time exceptional, and the support outstanding. I neglected to order a necessary o ring for the water pump, and the service department made me aware and had one ready when I arrived. They provide the legendary level of expertise and support that Mercedes Benz. Many thanks!

We purchased a CPO S Class in 2016. I feel the car was not represented properly and it stayed in shop quite a bit. We purchased A C300 in 2008 from Crown Mercedes and we still own this auto with great satisfaction. we are not hard people to please but this S Class from Carlton was an unreliable vehicle and a very costly mistake. The car had repaired Damages on the driver side back quarter panel and had paint work in that area. we Did not know this until we had front end repairs done at Lexus of Greenville and the body repair personnel pointed this out due to a run in the paint. They also said the front end had damage on the front end but many parts had to be removed in order to see this.In despair we drove the car to the dealership for help as the car was now giving stability problems. We were too concerned to drive the car home back home so we entered a lease agreement and received absolutely no consideration for what we had already lost on the Lemon. They bought the lease car back last year and felt they could give me a little money but we did not get one red cent. We were also told we could get a reduced price on servicing our C Class. That did not happen either. We felt robbed. Much more could be said in regards to the Hustle but this should be sufficient. Don't take their word for anything. CPO means nothing. Have an outside body shop and mechanic check any and everything before laying the money on the table. In our case the CARFAX was not aware of these problems.In closing I feel some of the staff took advantage of Mr Carlson's passing and these Unsavory business practices were done behind Heather's back.

Every experience I have had with these guys has been 5*. They helped me look for a car. Great service every time. What I wanted was rare and hard-to-find, and I bought a used mercedes somewhere else. Carlton still helped me when I had issues. Their prices on warrantees were SIGNIFICANTLY less that I was quoted at other mercedes dealerships. I bought a warrantee from Carlton. I couldn't find my info and they helped me look it up. Their service department is top-notch also. Honestly I have come to really appreciate Carlton. I plan to buy my next mercedes from them. I feel like I owe them.

Their attention to detail is second-to-none and is evident across the board—from a most impressive showroom to a courteous, attentive and engaging staff/management team. The Service department has always demonstrated exceptional care and responsiveness. I love my new Mercedes … and once again, I have nothing but sincere accolades to shower upon this dealership … another overall superior experience!

awful experience and the way the manager treated me. I came in looking to fix a few things in my car and I had insurance to cover the cost. The manager kept telling me that I had no insurance and we kept back and forth. later to find out they signed me up with a third party and did have insurance but it wasn't displayed on their computer but at the sales dept computer. They need to stay more current with their updates.

I’m not one to give reviews, but I cannot express how pleased I was with the quality of service from Carlton!On my way to SC, my turbo blew up and I had my car towed to them, Mr Jon Brite was my service advisor and I must say, he was super helpful, friendly, and extremely patient! My car was covered under a 3rd party warranty and they were kinda a pain to work with, but he absolutely helped me out and went above and beyond! 10/10 recommend!

Initially I encountered an unsatisfactory customer service experience and was provided incorrect information. However, after posted my original review here with a 1 star rating within one hour the service manager of this location reached out to offer his apologies, correct information and preliminary thoughts of what may be the issue with my vehicle. I really did appreciate him reaching out. I'm not sure if he reached out out of sincerity or if the dealership prompted him to reach out because they received notification of my first review. Either way I felt that this gentleman was genuine in his kindness and I was pleased with our conversation. Please note that at this time I informed him that I was on my way to take my vehicle to another business for diagnostic and repairs. The following day I received a voicemail from said gentleman stating that that I was invited to bring my vehicle in for a scan to diagnose and a conversation about repairs that may be needed. However, my vehicle is currently being serviced at another local service provider.Final update: After my repair was completed elsewhere I developed some concerns in regard to the idling of my vehicle. Although I did address these concerns with the business that completed my repairs/service I still remained unsettled. The service manager of Mercedes of Laurens Road kindly responded to my review prior to this update. Again he continued to extend a warm invitation to assist me if needed. With this being said I decided to reach out for support. I will summarize this with stating that Douglas made the entire difference in my experience with this dealership. We met at the dealership. He then accessed my vehicle, offered his expertise in regard to what I was experiencing, demonstrated and explained features of my vehicle and more. Douglas single-handedly raised my experience from a 1, to a 3 to the finale of a 5 stars. Kudos to him for being an amazing human and service manager. I was not asked to increase my rating to 5 stars. I volunteered!
