I had a checking account with this branch which I opened a couple of years ago. I did not use it, but I could monitor the activity on my Chase credit card webpage. Recently i went to check the balance and found that my checking account had been removed from the credit card site. I called Chase and they said since the account was dormant it was removed. I RECEIVED NO NOTICE OF THIS. They have my email, physical address and phone number! There was no way of accessing my money unless I came in to the branch per the service rep. Apparently they were going to keep my money and charge me dormant fees until the balance was zero! I went into the branch and closed the account. The teller gave me a letter which she said was proof of account closure. I read the letter after I left the branch and was shocked to read that my account "isn't closed yet because there is either a pending transaction or a negative balance". She told me my account was closed! I feel this is just a way for them to steal their customer's money. Stay away!!!

Customer service was over the top! I went to this specific location on two separate days and both days they took care of my unusual request. Both Krishanda and Aileen helped me and were amazing! There was a lot of traffic coming in and out and they made sure to take their time, we’re friendly and very welcoming with each customer. I was definitely impressed and think they deserve positive recognition. Thank you for help again! This is a great location and the entire team is very helpful and welcoming!

Worst experience ever. Tried to withdraw money and was told I had to have 2 forms of ID. Come back with that and was told I could not withdraw anything and that was it. So I went to woodruff road branch and she explained there was a restriction and then they fixed it and I was able to withdraw my money. Why couldn’t Pelham road branch tell me that

Chase is no good. Stick with Bank of America. I hope they’re never allowed to expand to Spartanburg County. They’re horrible to deal with.

Charge money for accounts but takes 10 business days around 2 weeks to get money from check. Most banks have free accounts that get deposits in less than 4 days

If I could rate this branch a zero I would do so. My wife and I made an appointment a week in advance. We arrived for the appointment 15 minutes early. We were met at the door by the person we had the appointment with and she quickly schooled us on the fact that we were early. Then asked “why are you here” she then told us we had to leave and come back because she didn’t have time for us. So we left but did not go back. Instead, we went to Woodruff Rd where we received 5 star service. We will never ever go back to Pelham Rd.again. Chase needs to rethink their staffing choice with this employee. Customer service is not her strength. Doesn’t seem to like people at all. Chase is too big to have an employee with this type of attitude.
