Customer service was terrible. Employees at the register acted like I was inconveniencing with my purchase.Houseplant selection was good. Prices competitive to other places.

If you enjoy shopping here because of the good shopping selection, but, yet you are looking for good value, do yourself a favor and simply pick the things you want to buy, pay for them, then check to see what you paid for things once you get home.

This has become my new favorite store! All the employees were super friendly and asked if I needed help. Their plant selection was gorgeous. All the plants looked so healthy. I came for 1 and ended up with 5, hehe! Will definitely be back.

I came in looking for potpourri. I bought two bags of their potpourri and two bottles scented oil. It was $93. To me, that's a premium price for what should be a premium bag of potpourri. I got home, opened both bags, put one upstairs and one downstairs and after a full day, all of the smell is gone. I just got back from church expecting a fresh smelling home and there wasn't even a hint. Big disappointment.

Driving by and saw this place was open on a Sunday. Seemed like a great selection of both indoor and outdoor plants. Shop was definitely set for both Halloween and Christmas. Know what you want when you go, no one asked us if we needed help on the floor but ladies at register were very friendly.

I'm not a big fan of Mexican cuisine, so just can't give it a 5*, but this is the best of its type in the area. I ordered the Bronco steak which is billed as a rib eye. It was about 1/4" thick, it that, so was overcooked. Our waitress, Yamileidy, was excellent! She's personable, efficient and speaks fluent English. She made our experience enjoyable.

I cautiously came here for seedling plants to begin my summer vegetable garden on April 1st. I say cautiously because my wife was also coming along with me and this store can be dangerous for home decor, yard ornaments and even Christmas trees and decorations, especially in season. They have an excellent selection of yard and in home decorations that you won't see anywhere else. Case in point, several sizes of cute rabbit statues in various cute poses for the garden. Except an 18 inch standing rabbit statue was $50. So, we did not get that today, my wife went back Monday by herself and it appeared in my garden. It is nice, but expensive. On another note, all of their seedling vegetable plants were healthy and standing 3-4 inches tall at only $1.99 each. Contrast this to Lowe's Hardware at $6.00 per seedling (Bonnie Plants) and it is quite the bargain. For $6.00 I also got a tomato plant already potted that was about a foot tall - getting ahead on the schedule. One way to look at it, since I purchased 18 plants then I "saved" $72 by not shopping at Lowe's and coming to Country Boys and even with the rabbit statue, saved $12. so it is kinda like I got the rabbit statue for free? Isn't it? This store is well stocked, clean, pleasant and lots of workers to help the shoppers. There is a lot of spring activity and it is deservedly busy on a beautiful spring Saturday.

I have been a customer since CB’s opened on Wade Hampton, more than two decades ago.Lovely plants, and decoration,on the pricey side, and locally owned business (Luckily, the Upstate has several locally family owned nurseries that are great). While I always enjoy shopping on their Woodruff store where the staff is usually very friendly, I quit going to the Wade Hampton place, because the way they interacted with me in the recent years made me feel like I was a foreigner (i am a non native citizen). Also, one day, during the Covid high moments, one of their staff member decided to give me a lecture on his political views , as if he needed to vent. I remained silent and focused on selecting the plants I needed, but he really needed to talk, so he followed me, and kept talking. I was obviously kindly not feeding the conversation, as a mean to stop it. It did not work. I thought I would never be able to smoothly leave. I finally decided to just go and pay, only to get a condescending comment on my accent at the cashier… It was apparently my day, that day.So 4 stars for Woodruff, 1 star for WH, and I hope their staff there will be better trained on diversity and professionalism.
