Absolutely awful experience the year I was with them. They were evicted from (one of?) their warehouses and with little notice on my end, my small inventory ended up in limbo, with an eviction lawyer (the ones evicting D.O) contacting me telling me I would need to come pickup my inventory, or pay a ton to ship it elsewhere. Prior to any of this, I had several orders wait many days to a week before being shipped for no reason provided. I was a super tiny client for them but it was still the worst experience I've had in business or any other exchange of service.

I've contracted with 3 fulfillment centers since starting my business 2 years ago and I can say that Direct Outbound is by FAR the worst fulfillment center I've ever come across. Actually, no - not just in comparison with other fulfillment centers. It is simply the worst company I've ever come across, period. After 5 months of a living nightmare with them, I'm happy to say I'm returning back to my previous fulfillment center that I should have never left in the first place.

Direct Outbound's fulfillment service and attention to detail is top notch. After handing off inventory and instructions for our products, every shipment has gone out without a hitch. Highly recommended!

I am not exaggerating when I tell you this place has the absolute worst customer service imaginable - unresponsive, uncaring, unprofessional, and dishonest. I contracted with them for their fulfillment services, so they have my merchandise, but they do not fulfill orders, and they will not return my goods. BEWARE!

The pic attached is the package I got from the grillmasters club from this location. 35$ package plus shipping got me a 3$ bottle. We call this fraud in my state.

Worked here some odd years ago. Great place to work, everyone is so laid back, really know how to make you feel at home. If they were to raise the pay I would consider going back.

While I would like to give this company a more positive review, I cannot. I was with them for a little over a year and over that time tried to work out many kinks that they still had with communication, inventory management, financial compensation for errors and the list went on. Having previously owned and operated my own distribution facility, I felt my suggestions and experience would be welcomed. While there were some changes and improvements, the communication and overall management issues persisted. There was also a hefty error made that effected us financially, and when credit was asked for those request were met with no response. We eventually resolved this on our own by adjusting our own invoice amounts, but that was not our desired result. Each time I would ask for compensation for errors made in shipping etc, again that would be met with no response. I gave 4 months notice for things to change or I would need to find another fulfillment solution, which was acknowledged by my sales rep who is no longer with the company. Upon leaving I was met with an "early termination fee" which was indeed in the contract. I do not feel I should have had to pay an early termination fee to get my goods that were being held util that was paid, and gave clear reasons and documentation that if they would have rectified or resolved any issue I would not have had to leave in the first place, but they insisted that it be paid as it was in the "contract." If someone was leaving my company due to my inefficiency and lack of resolve making it difficult for them to conduct business, I certainly would not charge them an extra FEE for leaving. So while there are some good employees at this company that I enjoyed working with (Justin, Ashley, Nathan) upper management / ownership really lacks in doing what I feel is the "right thing" by their customers. This is a young company with a lot that still needs to be learned.

Pretty terrible customer service as this was my email from them: Hey Aaron, Sorry, but I am uninterested in continuing our conversation. Best of luck finding what you need for your business. It is not that I do not want to earn your business. I just feel like I will spend too much time, for hardly any benefit to Direct Outbound. I have a lot going on, and I need to be available for larger opportunities. This was after one phone conversation after waiting days for an email with shipping rates.
