Really disappointed with Fairway Ford. Had a bad experience and reached out to the General Manager to schedule a time to meet and never had any response. Still waiting to hear back. CricketsUpdate: currently on week 3 with no return call from General Manager or any other management. After reading several of their reviews, it doesn’t surprise me now.Update to the update: Never once had a response from the GM or Fairway Ford. Highly recommend not dealing with this company. All they seem to care about is the sale then you are trash to them. Stay away!! 0 stars if possible

I brought my 2008 Ford Ranger (which I have been driving since new) for tune-up service because I prefer to trust my vehicle to their own technicians. Upon paying almost $400 (which I did without hesitation) for just replacing the cables, spark plugs, oil (which the oil they put is not fully synthetic like I always prefer) and filter. I was expecting to have at least a diagnostic check and receive additional service recommendations, which I did not. Upon driving my truck back home, it was "jerking" ocassionally as if losing power due to a faulty spark plug, fuel pump, or dirty filter (I am not a mechanic, but can point possible causes). I ask my service technician why no one noticed if it should have been test driven once the work was performed. I received my vehicle more than 2 hours later than agreed time. Then was referred to the "transmission" department to schedule service and was told the earliest time available was on February! All I wanted was to receive my truck back in perfect conditions regardless of the required repair costs...

Poor service, poor communication. Was not informed of a warranty extension that would have saved us thousands of dollars until after we no longer qualified for coverage, and they had the nerve to propose $3,500 of repairs for problems previously undetected despite several rounds of inspections and maintenance. To make matters worse, although I was the name on the service account and the owner of the car, they directed their communications primarily to my husband as I tried to express my dissatisfaction. Fred Sizemore, the service center manager, even went so far as to ask me to stop talking at one point in the conversation. Will not be returning and would not recommend.

I was very pleased with the Service Department on the care of my 21 Ford Escape. I didn’t wait long for my car to have the oil changed and maintenance. Everyone was nice and friendly.I would highly recommend Fairway’s Service Department for your maintenance on your vehicle. I would rate them a 10+!

This is a story about a girl who tried to be productive by bringing her car in for preventative maintenance, and ended up wishing she had just missed the appt and stayed in bed. Brought my 2014 Ford Focus in to be looked at on 10/09/23. I had received a letter about free TCM replacement, so I figured I’d bring it in for that and to have them address some small issues while I was at it. How naive of me to believe a dealership would service a car without charging predatory prices. As I’m getting checked in, I mention that the splash guard under the car was falling and the interior ceiling light would not turn off. The tech looked at the light and said it looked like the primary button on it was not working, which is why it wouldn’t turn off. Simple right? Of course not. In order for them to fix it, they have to run a separate “diagnostic” for another $100 (A test just to tell me what the tech already knew just by looking at it). The tech Ivan was honest and said it would probably be cheaper to just buy a replacement light on my own and hook it up, so this is not a review of him. This is a complaint about how Fairway Ford looks for every possible way to increase the cost by requiring a separate “diagnostic” for the smallest things, and then over charging for the repair so that you leave feeling ripped off without getting anything done. I’m sure most of their profits are made from charging for tests. They also would’ve charged me $100 just to tear down the splash guard- which I found comical.

My experience at your Fairway Ford Dealership in Greenville, SC was unpleasant to say the least.I arrived for my appointment at 8 am Friday October 13th to get my recall fixed on my Ford Fusion. I received a letter in the mail notifying me that my brake lines risk leaking and could lead to brake failure. I received the letter in April 2023 and immediately called to see if parts were available considering I no longer felt safe in my car. Called each month until they were finally available in October.Ultimately, I was REFUSED service by your staff because your staff could not figure out how to remove my tires. Apparently if I paid 230 dollars for new lug nuts, they would be able and willing to take my tires off. I shouldn't have to pay anything to have the safety of my car restored. If your professional technicians can't remove a tire, what makes me think their repair on my brakes will be done correctly? If the lug nuts are swollen and hard to remove, sounds like the lug nuts should be recalled as well.I do not feel this company values my safety and has made it difficult for me to trust this company with a quality vehicle.

Spencer was amazing, he answered all of my questions, the many that I had, never rushed me, never made me feel uncomfortable through the whole process. He educates and gets you in the best car for you! Go see him!

Fairway always does a great job on my truck. The only thing is that it would be nice for them to tell you up front the cost has gone up $40.00 for the same service I got last time. Oil change and tire rotation....

This isn't a review from a one-time fumble, but a review based off of my collection of experiences with Fairway Ford's service department. The staff is friendly but seem undertrained and clearly fail to communicate with one another. From the front desk cashier, all the way to the mechanics in the garage. For example, during my last service, I called in the morning to update my oil change appointment to have them replace my rear brakes and check the front brakes to see if they needed changed and if they did, go ahead and change them too. Upon picking up my vehicle, I asked if all that was done to which the cashier argued with me and said I never asked them to check the front brakes, only the rear ones. Okay whatever. Come to find out that they didn't even change my rear brakes like I asked. It was even on the customer request notes on the invoice! On multiple occasions I have requested for a repair to be done and it simply get ignored. Furthermore, I'm not sure what the scope of responsibilities are for the service reps but they absolutely do not follow through and ensure that the customer's request and orders were met. I will thank Fairway for one thing though, they are making me a better mechanic.

Unusual water pump & Cv replacement at Same time. Tyler handled our service wonderfully. Repairs were completed in three days. That’s much quicker that I even hoped. Tyler called me to report it being finished and amount owed. I am very pleased with Fairway service and excellent folks there.Brad Hansen

I got my oil changed at 8am on a Monday morning, i didn't expect to be greeted with donuts and Starbucks coffee, they changed the oil, handed me my keys and i was on my way. No one was rude or disrespectful! The price for the service was very reasonable considering the type of oil and the amout need.

Fantastic service. Fairway Ford offered me valet service, they picked up and dropped off my car saving me a ton of time. They took care of a recall and completed other recommend service in a very timely manner and without being pushy. Very friendly staff, will definitely use them in the future.

I made my appointment through their website it was perfect and I had an appointment right away for 4 o’clock the same day !!? I was out of there within an hour and they took care of every customer very carefully ! Some nice gentleman even made me a cup of coffee ??and everyone was very polite and very professional. They are awesome and they always have been. When I called on the phone, the agent told me all the details of what was covered under my service maintenance plan and she was very professional and I really really love the service that I get here and I’ve been going there for three years since I’ve purchased my vehicle there and I have never had a problem with any thing at all !!!100% Satisfied Customer Service Team!!!Thank you for having a wonderful service like that a lot of other companies fall short on customer service so that is saying a lot. Seems like nobody cares about taking care of the customers anymore but you are top-notch and I appreciate you may God bless your service industry.
