Great service! Working in Greenville and needed in person assistance to get a wire transfer through. Maxwell worked diligently to make it happen.

I’d give them a zero if it was an option… I’ve had several 401k and retirement accounts over the years but noticed Fidelity is the only one that holds your money hostage!!!! Even once you quit a job, which most places it’s available within a week or two… it’s over 5 weeks later and still can’t do full payout withdraw… first they said 30 days, then 2 pay periods, both of which have past: They did this for my husbands account as well, and it took almost three months and a ton of emails from his HR… so obviously this is their method to hold onto your money till the last possible minute before lawyers get involved, then they release it!!! People don’t request money from their 401k unless it’s truly needed… shame on them…Worst ever!!! Will not contribute to them ever again…Run! Invest anywhere else.

Been with Fidelity for nearly thirty years. A meeting scheduled at the local office several years ago was a fruitless, unproductive waste of time. Thankfully, they validate parking.Scheduling a recent [virtual] meeting with the same office yielded even poorer results than the one several years ago. The Fidelity Representative (Joshua ****s) cancelled the meeting without rescheduling or providing a substitute representative to speak with. Speaking with him briefly thereafter to understand why the meeting was cancelled, I found him to be short-fused, defensive and rude. This person has no business meeting the public with the level of hostility he presented.Fidelity has been a reasonably-good outfit with which to build a portfolio over the years. Their online tools have been reasonably good and if you're willing to assume responsibility for building and maintaining your own wealth, it would be hard to find better than Fidelity. Note: "Woke" elements such as "non-binary" are finding themselves onto their online forms. "Non-binary" is not a legal term and subscribers should consider whether elements such might be of concern. That said, the quality of their people has seriously declined over the last five years. "Short", "disinterested", "uninformed" are three words that seem to describe a number of the folks I get connected with. I surely hope "Covid" isn't the excuse du jour for an ever-lower customer service bar. Case in point .. few agents have ever heard of "bail-in". But if "bail-out" is an important word, "bail-in" is even more important. But few seem to know it's meaning and even fewer seem to care. Perhaps a sign of a overly-pampered workforce missing its professional ethic. At any rate, meeting at the local office was a flat-out wreak of an idea several years ago; the "Meeting II" sequel was an unmitigated disaster. Unfortunately, I don't think "ashamed" has a place in anyone's vernacular these days.

Having many options to roll my pension into I chose Fidelity. Huge mistake. Everything seems fine until you try to withdraw funds. Will not make home closing on time even after promised by Fidelity it would be available by morning, this was over a week time frame. Have been told this for a week. As of now I consider them crooks and reported them to SEC. We seem to have few options these days except lawsuits. Many others out there I have delt with, I would never recommend Fidelity.

The Greenville branch of Fidelity Investments is really disappointing. But, thanks to their terrible service I discovered Charles Schwab who have been great with helping me with my retirement planning etc. I closed my brokerage account with Fidelity and moved all my assets to Schwab.

Trying for more than 30 minutes to reach the Fidelity Greenville, SC, office without success. On hold for many minutes and then human came online but forwarded by phone call and then put on hold again. Why not take down my information and have someone phone me back? I am a long time (decades) Fidelity customer.

The worst service in the entire universe. I'm having a problem logging in, I've been trying to reach someone for two days. I hang up after a half hour. What if I had an important trade to make????!!!!!

I'm glad someone can get in touch with them. I have called and waited 30 minutes both time and NO answer. You can't leave a message or email them either. I may just go to a fee based Broker, at least they are working and seeing Clients.

If your trying to get accurate information from FidelityGood Luck. Talked to 4 separate representatives about listing myself as a Power of Attorney (POA) on my parents account each one told me a different story. I guess they make it up as they go along. No training no knowledge. They use to be the premier investing company. Not any more. No branches open! How do you expect to stay in business? I’ll be moving money out ASAP.

Fidelity is amazing and ease of access on a lot of things. But customer service and trying to get a hold of someone is near impossible. I’ve called three times and I was hung up on each time with no answer.

I opened an account recently with Fidelity. I started off by driving to nearby Greenville SC to open an account. They were closed. After an arduous process,..I finally got the account open. Then out of the blue,...even though my username and password were saved,...it wouldn't allow me to login! I called customer service to clear up the problem. NO ONE ANSWERED! I closed the account out of pure frustration . I closed the account on July 17th.It is now August 1st ...and my check hasn't came yet! I have made multiple phone calls to Fidelity to correct the situation,..and they don't have any viable solutions! They want me to cancel the check,..and have them reissue another.(Einstein's theory of insanity) Or,..reopen my account, and try some other Avenue. You would think that they would be a bit more conciensis about handling other people's money. They are quite callous about it,and just blame the post office. Meanwhile, I still don't have my thousands of dollars because they are too cheap and/or incompetent to treat my refund with a level of professionalism. They just drop it in the mail,..no priority, no tracking, nothing. And when you question them about it,...they are callous and unaffected. Do yourself a favor, and go with someone who operates their business in a professional manner,...and treats you and your money in a respectable manner!! Their customer service is horrible, and nonexistent!

After completing a call with Fidelity about 20 minutes ago the representative left a bad impression on my day and the way I do business with them. Morgan the representative was extremely rude. I asked my son quietly to go upstairs to retrieve information for me so I can give Morgan the accurate information(considering I'm on crutches it would take a while for me). Morgan says to me she hears another voice in the background of the recorded line and she needs their full name. No ma'am you do not. She insist that I give her his name. No ma'am you will not. He was not speaking with you but I to him. If I get this woman again I'll find another investment.
