Extremely helpful in finding shoes for my running journey. I walked in not knowing a single thing about high end shoes and ended up with a pair that has eased pain and helped me train so much. Pul don't recommend them more

I just started running a few weeks ago, so figured I should get some real running shoes. The team at GRC was SO helpful! I was 1 on 1 with a team member the entire time I was in the store, and they never pressured me to buy anything. They did a scan of my foot and got me a few pairs of shoes to try on. It was a quick, but not rushed, experience. They truly want to help people have the best running experience possible. I have never left a Yelp review before but I can not recommend this store enough.

I always get the right shoes for me. I love when the owner is there to make sure everything is right. Good luck with that at a chain store. #shoplocal

Upon entering this store I was greeted and helped by a lovely rep who’s name I wish I could recall. She was very helpful in helping me find shoes, showed me so many options was overall quite knowledgeable…. 10/10 customer service. I left with some shoes that I’m optimistic about. Now here’s why I docked a star: the owner. I’d discussed some physical issues I have, one being lower back pain. This is due to MRI results diagnosed by a SPINE doctor. When I mentioned it, it was suggested that it was likely not the case and he went on to mansplain. I mentioned that yes, that was the case as I’ve been in the service for literally 1/2 of my life span. He goes on to say “well we’re you jumping out of planes?!?”?♀️Let’s try this is the future. Don’t discredit a persons diagnosed issue and definitely don’t down play someone’s military service. At the time I considered it as him trying to be helpful, but after revisiting it—it just seemed rude. I won’t spend any more of my money there but I will be keeping the shoes the associates helped me out with.

I went in with my family looking for new walking shoes after I just started walking. I went to get fitted and the guy took me to the machine. He asked if I was an 8 1/2 and I said "Yes" then he said ok. He left me on my own, without any knowledge. So, I asked him for help and he got me out Saucony's. They were ugly. A high school girl brought in her 2 cents and was very passive aggressive to me and asked why I didn't like them. She got mad at me for no reason. What I'm assuming was her mother also added her 2 cents and was, and sorry for my language, a bitch. I will never recommend this store to anybody and will never be coming back. Go to Run In Simpsonville. These people prey on young runners who have just started. They make you feel under pressure because they are "experienced" and know better. Thanks but I'd rather buy online then from these dildo breaths. DO NOT COME HERE!!!

We went into Greenville Running Company as a last minute whim, looking for walking shoes for our upcoming vacation. They were very warm and welcoming and incredibly helpful. Any time we need running/walking shoes, inserts, etc. we will come here! Highly recommend!

If you are a walker or a runner, there is no place better to get your shoes. Wide selection of shoes and running gear. Great staff.

First time visiting Greenville Running Co. I was very impressed with the service....I have never walked into a shoe store and been greeted and asked what I would be doing in the shoes.... Then I was taken to a scanner where my feet were scanned and a 3D image was produced showing pressure points.....Then they discussed which shoes would be best for me and brought them out for me try on.....I was amazed at their knowledge of the shoes and how they fit your feet....

I'm an insurance adjuster that was working in Greenville for the recent hail storms as well as an avid shoe collector. So I was curious when I noticed the store by my hotel. As soon as I walked in I was instantly greeted and offered assitance, unlike how I'm usually treated at the big chain shoe stores. I explained whaty I was looking for and the employee instantly had me get my feet measured on their shoe fitting computer. Instantly I thought I'm fixing to get fleeced for the most expensive shoe in the store but I was COMPLETELY wrong! She brought out 2 diffrent brands and each one was incredibly comfortable so I bought both pair. Thusly over the next couple days I decided to return and try the top of the line Diadora V7000......WOW! SO I bought those as well LOL. So long story short...if you are an avid runner or someone who is on their feet all day like myself, do you self a favor and visit this business!!! Thank you so much Greenville Running Co

Always a great experience getting solid work shoes or running shoes. With the foot scanner, every pair of shoes I try on feels amazing! They have had me in Diadoras for 5 years now and nothing else compares! Such an improvement with my knees and hips and back by getting the right shoes on my feet!

I’ve bought my last five pairs of running shoes here and will keep going back as long as I’m in town. Great people, very knowledgeable about shoes and running in general.

They greeted me immediately and had me put my foot in a scanner for 3 minutes to just ask me my size so idk why we waisted time. The girl working was trying hard but to immediately upsale me to the most expensive item that did not even match what I told you I wanted was a bit much. Also they return policy is 10 days unused. How can I know if they will work if I can’t use them? How can someone spend $150 on shoes they can’t try in real life. The manager or owner was there and chose to talk shop with some random friends rather than help the new girl that was trying and failing to help me. They may have good products but their policies, customer service and employee training need some work.

I went in to purchase a pair of everyday running/walking shoes. The staff member who helped me used the machine to collect data to help generate recommendations. I was told I supinate, but now after visiting Fleet Feet and utilizing google, I believe I was told incorrectly, I actually pronate. I was recommended shoes, and they recommended I go a full size up. I also now know from Fleet feet and utilizing google, usually you only need to go a half (.5) size up. The Fit ID machine at Fleet Feet gave solid data (heel-toe length, width, and girth) which helped determine that I only needed to go up a half a size, based upon my foot size. After collecting data from their aetrex "foot machine" at Greenville Running Co., the staff member gave me only 2 options with minimal colors/styles. Despite not really liking the options I still purchased what I felt may work out of convenience. They used an additional machine to help "flex" the shoe, which they communicated would help with being able to freely move and flex in the shoe. However, this just honestly looks likes cut marks and wear and tear on the bottom of the shoe.I left with my purchase hoping these would work, as I only planned to walk on my new treadmill as I work with my standing desk. The next morning I tried them on for 2 minutes on the treadmill and was not pleased with the oversizing, style, and excessive rubber on the shoe, and returned to the store and asked for other options or a refund if I was not pleased with other options. When I came back in, the same staff member helped me, but seem annoyed that I came back in. When asking for a refund, because I was not happy with alternative options, I was told that they were "worn" because I tried them on in my home, which we both knew simply was not true (they were still in perfect condition). Long story short, I only had the shoes for less than 24 hours and only walked in the store and on a new treadmill for 2 mins. The shoes never touched grass or dirt. I walked more in them at the store than I did on my new treadmill. They gave me a refund, and I won't be returning to this store for help in finding running shoes again. The customer service could be better, and they don't seem to be as knowledgeable as I expected. Lastly, they don't have many options to choose from. I went to Fleet feet, and they explained more about my fit ID results, provided great customer service with knowledgeable recommendations and even better prices and options! I understand wanting to shop local, but this just wasn't it for me. If you're looking for a store with all of the same options/recommendations + more options, better customer service, and better prices go to Fleet feet instead!
