In reading other reviews, I see the same problem with incredible rudeness has been going on for years. Both times I went in, the cashier was beyond rude. I asked a question, she just stared at me for a while, then shrugged. Her colleague was right there, but she didn't even bother to ask him. The second time, while checking out, I asked her how to find my discount on my phone. Again, she just stared at me silently until I gave up. I have never experienced such a thing! I refuse to go back.

I should have know better than to come to a Joanns. They do not honor the shelf price on items regardless as to how many units were on the shelf. Waited in line with a large piece of foam. When I got to the register I was told I needed to get out of line and have it cut. I did not want it cut. I wanted to but the entire piece for the shelf price of $39.99. Fabric cutter insisted I needed to have it cut. Then they told me it was buy priced by the yard. Went back and checked and now where on the shelf tag does it say per yard. Staff was not friendly or helpful. I will go to the foam and fabric store by my home in NC.

I had lunch at Jason's Deli with a friend afterwards she was telling me about a project she'd like to do so we popped right across the parking lot to Jo-Ann's. We looked for the netting we wanted but couldn't find it. Asked a young associate who was very nice and helpful. She pointed us right to it.

They always have sales, which is great! There is a good selection of fabric and they have loop yarn which my daughter loves! They also give teacher discounts.

There's a lack of enthusiasm in a portion of the staff here. I'm not sure if it's low wages, poor corporate culture, or an unpopular manager, but a lot of the women here seem bitter and unhappy with their jobs.Aside from staff issues, there's an even more fundamental problem here: I've been to a great many fabric stores all over the U.S., including some of the biggest on the east coast and I've NEVER seen any of them do what Joann's in Greenville has started doing recently. They have started putting binder clips on every bolt of fabric, as opposed to the proper and traditional method of tucking or folding the end so the fabric doesn't fall off. Every single one of those binder clips crimps and mutilates the fabric several revolutions deep, resulting in that portion of the fabric to be unusable. That damage does not wash out; it does not iron out. Potentially, it may not harm fleece or a tough broadcloth, but ALL the finer, delicate fabrics, all the expensive ones - anything you might attempt to make clothes out of - the fabric is ruined.I have the feeling that someone there thought they were simply brilliant to have come up with this idea, but they probably don't sew or just don't care that this stupid shortcut has ruined tens of thousands of dollars of fabric. I have entirely taken my business away from Joann's in Greenville until I hear that they have stopped this damaging, wasteful practice.

Joann please do Something about these dogs. I was in the store a couple of weeks ago and I forgot to comment then but these dogs are becoming to much. I’ve notice the last three visits at least two customers have dogs. One lady had 3 dogs, two in a shopping cart and one in her arm. Another lady come through the door with a dog so big I though it was a baby pony and the lady with the 3 dogs her dogs saw the big dog and guess what all dogs are barking, it’s too much and nasty someone will put their items in the same cart as the lady with 3 dogs and get home and have hair all over their items it’s too much and I believe unsafe.

JoAnne's always has something I can use if they don't have precisely what I had in mind. The staff always take an interest in my projects as well.

I do not recommend. I came here around 930 am on a weekday and they open at 9. They weren't busy at all. I've never been to this location ever and I'm not familiar with going to stores like this. I had to get something for someone. I stopped a worker who was walking past me and told her how I was unfamiliar with the store and asked her where something is. She points behind her (not at a specific area) and said it was back there. I was confused and asked where since she was pointing at such a broad direction and asked if her she could show me. This RUDE lady looks at me and "huffs" very loudly and rolls her eyes. I said for her to forget it and walked away. When I did that she ended up walking in front of me and tried to show me. I told her not to worry about it. Turns out the store is so disorganized she couldn't even find it herself. She stopped and asked another rude manager and without looking the manager said if it wasn't in that area then we don't have it. Turns out they did have it but it was in a different area. Interesting since two workers couldn't even find the item but they expected me to. I told the rude worker I didn't appreciate her being rude to me and rolling her eyes at me. She looked at me dead serious and said that she didn't mean to but she had glitter in her eyes and that was why it looked like she rolled her eyes at me. I looked at her and just couldn't speak. The lady at checkout was the only kind soul at this location. I called the 1800 number to complain and it was very obvious it was outsourced. I couldn't understand anything he was saying but he did say someone would contact me in 3 business days. I did the survey and was also emailed back and was told someone would contact me in 3 business days. I messaged them on instagram and was also told I would be contacted in 3 business days. Did anyone contact me? NOPE! It took two weeks. I finally messaged them on ig and told them and someone contacted me within an hour. A lady called me and she said was over that store. I can tell she was with corporate. She did not apologize to me but said she was busy and recently took over this territory. She vaguely asked what happened but interrupted me and said she didn't want to know the description of the lady. Thought that was strange since the workers there were all very different looking with age, hair color, and height. After I told her everything she never apologized. Just said she would try to go to that store next week if she had time and that would only be if she didn't have to go to their sister store. She said she would try to find out what happened and address it but she honestly didn't seem genuine. She seemed busy. She was very crass. I told her I felt like this lady was rude to me because I was with my baby on a weekday and that with me being Asian she treated me differently than she would if a white elderly asked her for help. Sorry, but that's how I feel. Either way the answer would be pretty bad. The lady responded and said that Joann's has a strict policy and blah blah blah. I don't recommend this place unless you want to feel like sh!t.

Made a killing on the buy3 get2 free sale. Got bindings for projects I make, quilts and bowl coasters. And also buy3 get2 free on serger thread. New color selections to add to my stash. Plus found a hard to find gift for my one daughter who collects Angels. Always find bargains I wasn't actually looking for. If you need sewing/ knitting/ crafts/ and everything in between, check out Jo-Ann's. They have basically anything you are looking for at great sales, too !!!

I don’t know where to start. First of all the candle holders I ordered online for my wedding are beautiful, but I had to order them twice. The first time they didn’t ship on time and they were returned by fedex for damages to the package. They never made it to me. They don’t reship orders. I received a full refund and had to order again. They raised the price. So I paid more for the order. They were delivered on time this time, but 7/17 pieces were broken. Some shattered. 6 of them weren’t even wrapped. You have to download the app to contact customer care. Some of the features on the app and website don’t work. I mean how ridiculous is that? Needless to say if I ever shopped with this company again, it will definitely be in store. I highly doubt it. I do not advise anyone to ever order anything online. I don’t care if it is being delivered to the store.

Their fabric section is to die for! Any type of print you're looking for, and some you aren't. Sales are amazing, and the prices cannot be beaten. Love, love, love their seasonal designs, as well. Just wish we had 2 stores so I wouldn't have to go all the way to Haywood Road to shop.

This has always been one of my favorite places for fabric until today. One of the signs stated particular item(s) was 50% off, so I put several in my buggy but items rang up at regular price. The cashier was extremely nice and professional. She contacted the manager on duty, and manager said items were not on sale. I went back to the aisle with the 50% off sign, pulled the sign, and took it back to register. Cashier contacted manager again and stated that there was a sign showing 50% off, and sign should have been pulled on 10/2, but obviously it was not. Manager refused to honor the sale sign. That is pretty bad customer service on the part of manager.
