We have always been happy with them until recently. We have always taken our dogs to the mobile for shots and nail trimming. We buy our flea and tick prevention pills from them with no problem until the last time they didn't have enough pills with them so they said they would ship them to us when they got more so we paid them for all of the pills and shots but we waited and didn't get the pills so we called many times and emailed them and we either didn' t get an answer or the person who answered a few times tried but couldn't help us they didn't have the authority they would pass on the message but no one responed to us. Finally after 5 months they sent the pills to us but never did ever respond to a call or email or call us back! Very disappointing! We will continue to use there mobile service the prices are worth it but I would never leave without my merchandise again.

I found some of the services to be a bit pricey. I wanted my dog microchipped and the fee is fifty dollars plus an office visit fee. I called the humane society and was able to get the same service for only ten bucks. When I entered the clinic I sat face to face with the front desk personnel for at least five minutes before she even acknowledged my presence.

They had me put a partial non-refundable fee of $50 to make my first appointment there. The vet took a lot of time with me and gave me a lot of good information. It was his first day working there. Staff was very nice. Price for the visit was good. I also use their mobile vet clinic and have for a couple of years now.

This animal hospital operates a mobile pet unit and I was able to take my elderly father with his cat to get a couple of vaccinations.Easy and fast process that was better and less expensive than taking the cat in for an office visit.

We used to love this vet office. But - dramatically different than it used to be. Though remodeling structurally, customer service has dropped dramatically. They rarely answer phones. The very new CS theory appears to be, "Take it or leave it and move on." Every aspect seems to be focused on convenience of the highly touchy defensive staff and often feels like customers are a inconvenience. We won't be back! Looking at the most recent reviews, we aren't the only ones who feel this way.

Not only are they a brick and mortar business, they also provide mobile units at designated locations to provide basic services like shots and heartworm testing. They have always been kind and their prices are good.

Awful service would not recommend them at all! They don't even tell you what they are going to do to your animal then charge you for what u don't need

BEWARE!!! If your pet needs to see a vet quickly, this is not the place for you. They schedule appointments weeks out because they can’t keep doctors in there. The few that are left work very limited schedules- (like a few days a month). They hardly ever answer the phone and they never return voicemails. They also randomly close for days at a time with the only notice being a note taped to their door. Once you go inside, you’ll notice the building is outdated and in poor repair. We had allergy testing done through them for $700 and have received practically no support afterward. The allergy test results provided a list of prescription foods. I ordered one of the recommended foods through PetSmart. A week later, petsmart cancelled my order because they weren’t able to get in touch with Richland creek despite leaving voicemails. I called Richland Creek to get a copy of the prescription and they said I could just order through their online store. I checked the price and it was $30 more than petsmart. I called back and said I just want a copy of the prescription, they said the doc that saw my dog didn’t work there anymore so it would be $40 for them to write it AND it would be 3 weeks before the vet would be back in the office to write it.

I'm not sure what happened, but all the front office staff has changed and NO ONE EVER answers the phone. I do not recommend this place.. Its been 2 months since I posted this and no response from the Vets office.

I have been going to this Vet for over 10 years and they use to be a wonderful vet, but they have really went down hill the last few years. I have so much I would like to say but I will try to summarize it. They lack compassion they have no customer service, and a simple task of getting flea medicine turned into me having to go to another vet office because they would not sell me the product or offer solutions to a my unusual situation (my cat has cancer and it being treated by Oncologist) About a year ago I had a emergency with my other cat and they said they would work me in, when I got there they told me I had to have appointment and they could not see me. Literally an hour before I was told to bring him in and they accused me of lying. The last Vet I seen there was unprofessional and very rude to me, like I was bothering her and she walked out when I was asking questions. That same visit the floors were sticky and dirty, they looked like they haven't been moped in weeks. Also every time I am there it's a different Vet, it's so weird. I have asked for the medical records for both my cats and have not received them, hopefully I will get them soon, so I can be done with this place. I am now taking my cats to Fetch on Woodruff Rd and Five Forks Animal Hospital both places I highly recommend. If you are looking for a new Vet do not come to this place. This place should go out of business because they are running a truly terrible practice. I would never take any of my pets here if I were you, you will regret it, and your pets health is too important to risk being mistreated and/ or get an infection that will make matters worse. Save your time and money and go anywhere else but here!

I too, had been a long time customer of Richland creek but prior to COVID hitting they began to have bad service and that’s when I decided to go elsewhere. After reading reviews it seems like they’re losing so many long time loyal customers due to their lack of customer service, organization and overall providing a semi descent experience to anyone trying to visit the clinic.I have an older pet who I just got insurance for in April, the insurance company reached out to me because they have been email and calling since April with no response. After calling 6 times, back to back someone FINALLY answered, I requested my pets medical records. Although, it took a while to receive I got them the same day. As they say “a win is a win” so I’ll take it, I do hope this get clinic improves!

You can’t beat the prices but just call ahead and make sure you understand their hours and appointment styles. We have always worked with vets that were caring and knowledgeable.

I have an older dog that's has been going here for years and everything was great. However within the last couple of months the quality of the service at this location has drastically changed. They rarely answer the phone or return calls now and it seems impossible to get the proper assistance. I am extremely disappointed and wish that they would treat their clients as of it where their pets.
