I've used them back in 2018-2019 and it was simple and quick with no complaints but I feel customer service has gone down a bit.

Watch out for dirty containers. I had a wet oily spill in my 20ft trailer had I had to cover it up with cardboard. The plastic material that they use for a lid had foam around it that was deteriorating and left a mess all over my personal belonging. The bolts are used to mount the plywood to the floor some of them are sticking up i had to worry about tripping over them. I complained about the trailer took a day and a half for someone to call me back at that point I already had a load it up because I did not have time for a second trailer be delivered to me. The quality of the 8-ft trailer was nice like the ones that they show you in the picture hard rubber floors multiple anchor points and a sealed roof.

I would give Zero stars if permitted. POD was picked up unscheduled and items inside POD were damaged. Company is not willing to own up to their mistake and provide adequate reimbursement.

I moved from St Petersburg Fl to Greer, SC. My home in St Pete sold 6 weeks before my home in Greer was ready for move in. Using the POD allowed me to store my belongings close to where I was moving. This was a significant issue that I didn't have to worry about.

Such an easy process from the phone call with the gentleman who helped me to the pick up and delivery. I did go with a bigger pod, the 16 ft one and I'm so glad I did! I lived in a 2 bedroom apartment but a lot of things, so the big one was necessary! The process was seamless and very glad I had a storage option while I did renovations at my new house.

Using PODS for my move was easy and efficient. Hopefully I won't have to move again any time soon, but if I do I will use PODS again and will be recommending them to any family or friends making a move.

Damaged my POD moving across country and punctured a huge hole in the side through to the inside damaging my belongings. Removed my items during transit to repair the hole and spattered putty which got all over my furniture and boxes. My PODS were not trackable and associates didn't know why it was late and where they were. I was told different things by different associates. The PODS were delivered a week late after they realized that it was delivered to their warehouse on the day it was suppose to be, they just "didn't notice them" somehow. How do you not know you had two 16 ft trucks delivered?! They kept telling me they were still "stuck in the snowstorm in Oklahoma", when they were actually already delivered to them! I would not recommend using PODS for out of state moves!

Their prices were absoluetly Rediculously High and on top of that they require you to rent for a month, even if you only need it for 7 days. Then, they added delivery charges, pick up charges and fuel surcharges on top of everything else.It would have cost me $941 for one 8x16 unit in my driveway as storage for 7 days.Instead I called Pack Rat - better units, better customer service, way better pricing, qnd tgey were willing to lease one to me for 10 days for just $314. Which included delivery, rental and pickup.It wasnt just the price, the people at PODs acted like the world revolved around them and that I should be happy they were willing to do business with me. Utterly foolish people there.They can keep their leaky, overpriced units ...

You can't trust this company. I booked with PODS 6 months out from my move. The day they were to deliver my POD they finally acknowledged that the delivery driver was out for unexplained reasons. This was after 5 calls to the company throughout the day. Finally at 3:30 they told me the delivery had been canceled "per my request". Needless to say I went a little postal. The men who were coming at 8:00 the next day were out the work. Never once did the supervisor at PODS apologize simply said they could deliver my POD 4 days later. I was moving to a different state. I wasn't even going to be in the area in 4 days. You can't depend on this company to deliver as scheduled.

Multiple problems.Initial price quoted was not honored by PODS even when I had “locked-in” the quote with my credit card as PODS prompted me to.PODS continued to repeatedly charge my credit card in error. Some of the charges were finally reversed after several lengthy calls, but PODS changed the terms of the pricing without any notification.Had repeatedly explained to PODS that my household items, that included mattresses, upholstered furniture, etc., would need to be placed into long term storage for at least 1 to 2 years or longer, PODS 1st delivered a totally wood lined POD that was dirty and had a horrendous smell that was absorbed into the wooden surfaces of the POD. When I had used PODS before ALL of the PODS were constructed with metal and plastic. Long term storage of my belongings in the smelly wood-lined POD would have ruined my mattresses, upholstered furniture, etc.

I did not have a good experience with PODS. They grossly underestimated the amount of PODS I would need for my house. Then, my scheduled redelivery was never actually scheduled. Out of 3 PODS, one was not moved to the new location, therefore could not be delivered when it was supposed to be. I was then charged for another month of storage of the POD (their fault). I had to change plans and reschedule a moving company, costing me even more money in the end. Completely PODS fault. After contacting the person that was assigned my dispute of charges, I was told these things take time and I need to be patient. It has been 3 weeks since I’ve filed the dispute and I’ve heard nothing. Very frustrating when spending thousands of dollars moving. I would never recommend PODS, and I will never use again.

Wish i could have given them negitive stars...Don't use them! I was lied to. Everything was great until they got the first POD of my stuff. Then the problems started. Wish I had paid more for traditionally movers. We used 3 PODS to move from Canada to South Carolina. 2 crossed the boarder together 1 a few days later. Good luck on the paper work...You have to guess that its filled out correctly. As to the PODS, one leaked as some boxes got to our new home wet. The dresser we had in one corner of one of the PODS was s9 damaged that we trashed it when we unloaded it. It fell apart in our hands. Seems like something hit that corner of the POD.My advice? Think it won't happen to you? Think again. Find another way to move. Your stress will thank you.

Rated as Four Star only because I received to many irrelevant emails after signing contract. I think PODS should send a 'reminder' emial 24 hours prior to charge my account. PODS pickup and deliver people were great.

Every person who represented PODS gave me inaccurate information - service area, timing, and resolution of issues. And you cannot speak to anyone local. Good luck if you decide to use PODS. Most phone reps had a very thick Asian accent which made the experience more aggravating.
