“As of 2/20/25 I was contacted by a very sincere man from Suburban Propane about my bill. I am behind on my bill and have been searching endlessly to find some way of acquiring financial assistance with a lot of my bills to no avail. Lo and behold this sincere man spent at least 30 minutes of his time conversing with me about the propane industry and prices over the last year or so. After our conversation he did very much convince me of their concern when people are struggling financially. I still have a bill to work on but feel a lot better about my relationship with Suburban and as I told the man, I am old school. Something you don’t find very much anymore. I am a man of my word. We live in a day and time to where what someone says to you means nothing. But I assured this man that as soon as I got money he would be the first to receive payment from me. I’m sorry but I don’t even remember if I got his name. But this time spent with me changed my mindset about Suburban Propane. I feel now that they are a caring company! Thank you anonymous associate for spending your time with me!!!”

I follow this up with a overall terrible
review for the new owners of Freeman Gas .
I have been a longtime customer and never has such problems as experienced this past week with delayed gas delivered, including the fact that it is very difficult ( almost impossible) to get in touch with you local ,hometown office by phone , and never mind being given a straightforward answer by the “ all center “ , clearly employees are no longer honest and transparent with their customers ..Maybe this is the way Superior Gas out of Boston Massachusetts treats their customers up north but Freeman Gas customers in western NC are not used to this poor service .
