Wellll….. I preface by saying I was in the food service industry for years. The ice cream is OK. The building is cool. But being pointedly informed they were closed (twice) 15 minutes after closing, when we were almost finished, when 4 employees were all doing side work, was kind of a bummer. We were not loitering, we were just trying to finish our ice cream.May I suggest to the owner that while your employees are still working on side work, it would be reasonable to let a customer finish their ice cream. Or maybe change to window service only if it’s too much trouble.I will, reiterate, for the owner, the last sentence of my first paragraph: We were not loitering, we were just trying to finish our ice cream. We were not “hanging out“. We were trying to finish the product that we had purchased.Yes, I understand It’s a large space, but your staff still had much to do behind the counter. We had four or five bites of ice cream to finish. So here are some suggestions:-Closing time is not only a hard stop on any machines running. It also means you want all customers out of the building immediately. So 30 minutes before closing time rope off the end of your counter, to divert people back out the door and prevent them from sitting in the space.-post an employee at the door and take orders as you would at a drive-through window. Don’t allow people to come in, just bring the product to them to the door.-realize that when restaurants post their kitchen closes at 10, that typically means no more food out of the kitchen after 10. That doesn’t mean if you are still sitting there eating your meal at 10:15 that you need to pack it up and leave. Most establishments would allow you 20 to 30 minutes to finish your food.

Great little ice cream and coffee place right next to the falls. They mix the ice cream and toppings up and put it in your cone or cup. Pretty neat to watch. Sizes are pretty big. We got the “regular” and were unable to finish. The kiddie size would have been perfect. Will return for sure.

I bought a bag of coffee beans last Friday. I asked the barista when they were roasted and no information could be provided and there was nothing on the bag. I was really looking forward to the coffee because based on the website and reviews it seemed like a good spot. But when I opened the bag, the beans were oily and the pot of coffee did not taste fresh. I could tell they were roasted months ago. I tried to give an open mind to this place but was let down.

Cool coffee shop! There are many places to sit inside or, if you prefer, take things outside … there is a patio with seating or you can stroll through the park. They have yummy ice cream and milkshakes. My favorite hot drink is the chai latte.Parking: You will have to find street parking on Main Street or a parking garage. Depending on the day and time of year, that can prove challenging.

Yummy ice cream and coffee right at the entrance of Falls Park. There is almost always a line but it goes quickly usually.

I love this place but their hours are so unpredictable that we can’t come anymore unless we happen to walk by and they are open. Please start posting your hours to Instagram/Facebook at least - I hate not knowing if you are open before driving and parking downtown. They do have my favorite ice cream by far, so if you are around when they are open make sure to stop in!

A very bad experience.Online, they list their Saturday closing hours as 10PM. When we arrived, the employees had taped a note to the door saying they would be closing at 6:00. We arrived at about 5:50PM, though, so we should have been ok. My daughter was excited for her ice-cream treat. 10 minutes prior to them closing, we were not allowed to place an order (even for takeout). We were not even allowed into the building, even though they were "open" for another 10 minutes. My father asked to speak to a manager about the issue, and was taken inside, only to be told there was no manager and he should just go to Marble Slab...Spill the Beans was still open, refused us admission and service, and rather disrespectfully sent us to their competition. This was an incrediblely frustrating experience, and we will likely be visiting Marble Slab from hereon out.
