None of the equipment I ordered was inside the truck. Had to wait an hour for them to open to get the worst appliance dolly and furniture dolly I have ever seen. Appliance dolly’s wheels were shot and tracks did not turn at all making it impossible to go up stairs. The furniture dolly had two wheels that would not swivel properly making it impossible to steer. Very frustrating experience overall. Moving is hard enough without delays and shoddy equipment. The truck itself was clean and worked reasonably well, though it did have trouble starting a couple times.

Great folks, everyone was super helpful and friendly. Helped with a tricky situation due to other location not having all the equipment we reserved, and these folks dealt with our situation in an excellent way.

In the middle of a rainstorm, the 10’ truck we had just picked up had a battery failure and would not start back up again. Had to return the truck 6 hours sooner than planned so it wouldn’t die again.

Terrible service. Went there twice, no employee and no general manager anywhere and not even reachable during normal business hours via phone. Spent 30 minutes on the phone and then had to switch locations.

I recently rented a U-Haul truck from this location and my whole experience was great. From the ease of online reservation to the drop off process, it couldn’t have gone better. Christian P was awesome. Unfortunately they didn’t have the dollie I ordered but Christian went above and beyond to make up for the small issue. I highly recommend this establishment.

I’d happily give zero stars to this place. I know it sucks if every where else is booked and we all need a truck to move but please stay as far away as possible from this place.I rented a truck here for one day, ONE day. I picked it up at 4 pm and told them I could return in at 2 maybe the next day. I returned it at 2:35 exactly and they charged me for 2 days telling me I didn’t return it when I said I would and that they’re letting me off the hook of not charging me an additional $50 for returning it later than the exact time I said. Mind you it wasn’t even 24 hours! Management and associates were really nasty about me being upset about it. They can keep my extra 40 dollars but they have definitely lost my business forever

An absolute terrible experience. I rented a van. Picked it up 11/18/22, dropped it off on 11/20/22. On Thanksgiving Day (11/24/22) 4 days after I dropped off my rental, I missed two calls with no voicemails from Uhaul. I called back and was told the van was never returned. I explained I did return the van, spoke with someone at UHaul on Roper Mountain Rd that day and was told I was cleared to leave and the van had full fuel and was clean.The manager then told me they'd review the cameras and get back to me. I never got a call back on 11/24 or 11/25. I had to call back again to figure out what the update was. After reviewing their cameras, they realized I did return the van, but then I was told they didn't know where the van was and they couldn't close my account until the van was located. When I explained to the manager that I was cleared to leave by her employee, and that UHaul on Roper Mountain Road had possession of the van at that point and I was no longer responsible for the rental, she began to raise her voice. I explained to her that there was no need to get hostile and I was just trying to get every detail possible from her so I have all the information needed and also explain my position.After raising her voice again, I hung up on her and I called UHaul corporate and they got ahold of UHaul on Roper Mountain Rd to force them to close my account and issue a refund to me because this wasn't my fault.If the manager reads this, please know you need to work on your temper and not raise your voice at customers and treat people nicer. This situation wasn't my fault. This was an issue with your employees.

Another reviewer used the word incompetence.....Not strong enough!! Avoid this place if you can, I honestly think the people that work her are slow, gave my reservation away and blamed another employee TWICE!! Worthless

If I could give zero stars I would!! The manager at this location is pitiful! I was charged double without my knowledge after being told that it wouldn’t be an additional cost for the extension. The manager sucked her teeth, rolled her eyes and raised her voice when I asked her to explain the additional charge. She referred me to call customer service in which the agent told me that she (the manager at this location)could’ve overridden it and provided me a refund, and didn’t need to refer me to customer service technically. The worse UHUAL location I’ve ever stepped foot into. It needs to have a new manager.

The office manager is horrible. I work in the field and told any one that needed a moving company to avoid this location specifically. They charge extra and under deliver on reservations. Use any other location if you need a U-Haul.

The incompetence of the staff here is appalling. I don't even know why this forsaken place is operating under a "uhaul" title when the staff clearly have null respect for the company policies. When calling about an extension to our rental, we were told it wouldn't be a problem so long as we brought the van back by the end of the day, however, uhaul begged to differ on this and charged us double for the entire rental citing it was "in our contract" (no extensions) despite being told otherwise by the bird-brained employees here. The local uhaul customer service representative also showed zero empathy to our situation and didn't bother in the least to try and help us figure out what to do. Avoiding uhaul like the plague from now on after such a horrendous experience.

I reserved a van online on 10/13/2021 to be picked up on 11/1/2021. On 11/1, I called a couple hours before my scheduled time to see if I could pick it up early. They told me "sorry, we don't have any vans because Amazon is renting it"....Well I reserved it a couple of weeks ago. When are you planning to tell me about this? She said she was searching other locations, but couldn't find anything. So now I am stuck finding something else at the last minute. I had to settle for an Avis rental at three times the amount of money. Sorry, I am not Amazon, but you should have told me sooner that you wouldn't have the van. Maybe Amazon will leave you a five star rating, but I am definitely not leaving you a positive review. Then I tried to leave a review on the actual website for the Roper Mountain location, but their system said I cancelled the transaction so I can't leave a review!!! Don't rent from Roper Mountain. They don't guarantee your rental.

Don't take return vehicles, falsely reserve space, good luck if you are moving long haul and several have some bad attitudes. No perimeter security. Anyone can walk up an in to exterior units.
