First- I only write reviews, when I really being mad about a business, as well as when someone is totally outstanding. And no- doing your job is not this category.I was yesterday- around 5.30 at Walgreens in Powdersville to pick up medicine for my wife. I arrived and there were 3 people in front of me- there were 2 ladies at the only open counter, a lady and a sir in line ahead of me. The guy at the counter seemed like someone who absolutely doesn't know, what he was doing. The 2 ladies had a long list of medications- and despite the fact that the line became much longer quick, he decided to fill the long list of order from the 2 ladies on the spot, instead of simply telling them to leave the prescription and pick it up tomorrow. There were 4 more employees behind the counter, which did not pay one bit of attention to the people waiting, while this guy struggled with everything he did- had to ask guessed 25 times the Pharmacist behind the window, sitting on the computer like nobody else is in the store- as well as 2 others hanging non stop on the phone- looking out of the window, watching the line getting longer and longer. After agonizing 15 minutes (doesn't sound long, but if you wait in line and nothing actually happens, it feels like eternity) finally one of the girls went on the neighboring counter and serviced the guy, second in line. the young guy still struggling with the 2 ladies- where I say- no- it was not their fault. Then finally, after 25 minutes!!!!! a blond lady came to the counter and serviced the woman in front of me, then me. Well, I couldn't help it and I was not friendly anymore- especially, after my wife gave them her card and they had all the data- now this woman tells me, the card is not valid- while I called my wife- which also extended my time and didn't make me less mad, she said- never mind- just put her phone number in the pad- WTF??? WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM???I can say- I usually let the doctor call in the medicine to Publix Pharmacy- I never had such issues and even when it was busy, I never had to wait there longer than 10 minutes. The whole staff didn't feel like they need to be concerned with servicing the customers, one dummy (sorry- but that's how it looked) not knowing what to do set on the counter screwing everything up and the other don't care. Hell no.My advise to Walgreen's Pharmacy in Powdersville: Give Publix a call and ask them how they do it- you might learn something. No- this was not the first time- the whole pharmacy is managed very unprofessionally. Stretching people's time, who just want to pick up their medication on their way home at 6pm is not the way to make customers happy.I told my wife- no more Walgreen's Pharmacy- Publix it was, and will be- even though it's from us on the other side of town. I gladly drive the distance for not only good- but great service. Some might think I'm overreacting- but just think about it, what they do with YOUR time. And still getting paid.Rant over.
