I love Alamo especially the location in Greenville South Carolina at the airport. This particular location makes everything so simple. Their vehicles are immaculate. We were fortunate enough to rent a Hyundai Palisade and it was amazing. Thank you Alamo!

Check in was ridiculous! I prepaid the rental months ago. They demanded I show the credit card that I used. I did so but it’s from Goldman Sachs and they don’t print the cc# on the actual card. (Security, I guess) The lady said I owed $18.00 +/- in order to get the vehicle. I suggested she scan the card for the $18 and let’s see if the last 4 digits on the receipt match the original card used. In the meantime I pull up the credit card app on my phone and verify the last 4 digits do in fact match but that wasn’t good enough. This was a huge issue and she had to go into an office to discuss it with a manager. Manager agreed to just swipe the card for the $18 and see if it matched. Then, they wanted a $400 deposit bc I prepaid. What??? In the end, the waived the unknown deposit.Finally got the rental, it smelled bad like hot dogs with lots of mustard, windshield was filthy, vehicle was out of alignment and shook the entire time.Returned the vehicle to the parking garage attendant and he was great. However, he had to charge the $18 bc it still showed outstanding on my account. No idea how this wasn’t done at checkin and will look at my upcoming credit card statement for double charges. Will never use Alamo again!

Pickup was easy and car seemed in good condition, unfortunately I needed a different car that could handle possible snow and got a prompt upgrade thanks to Danielle. Didn't cost more and the upgrade was a 2024 car that I picked up same day with no issues, great customer service!

Alamo staff was super friendly and very prompt when we arrived in South Carolina. They also provided a free upgrade, as an early wedding present! We’ll definitely book with Alamo next time

Friendly fast service. Vehicle type clean and ready to go when scheduled without any issues. Disappointed that no upgrades offered based on frequent renter status. No real perks there....

The entire experience was outstanding. Customer service representative was professional, helpful and efficient. We quickly received an upgrade to higher class of car when the one we rented was unavailable. The car was comfortable and immaculate. Would definitely rent again!

My family and I just rented a car from Alamo last weekend, and honestly it was so easy. Pick up was super easy, and drop off was a breeze. The staff is wonderful and friendly. We will definitely book with Alamo for our next trip.

I travel a lot. UNLIKE other car companies, there is always a clean, fueled Alamo car waiting for me under my reservation. Lines are short, service is great, and the people are kind. Others can throw all the "bonus" mile they want for me to rent from someone else, I'm staying with Alamo.

Appreciate the great customer service and patience with me as I don't rent often. I gave them a 4 because of one of their employees. She gave me a certain car but I thought I was getting a larger one. Anyway, long story short you would have thought I murdered someone the way she acted.I would have prefered she switch the cars and understood without lectures and hesitation but instead I was treated like an idiot! I'm in the "people" business....so, I understand customer service. I think this one chick needed a vacation or she needs a mindset check. I guess it's a hit or miss with the counter help. But overall, love the staff....especially the old guy who checks your car back in.
