We hired Allied Van Lines for our move from SC to AZ through Carey Moving in Greer, SC. Our quote was done by Jeremiah Guffey of Carey Moving. We accepted the quote and the move was scheduled for a Monday. A driver called us and wanted to move it to one day earlier on a Sunday. Fine. They showed up on Monday in a North American Van Lines truck ??? and said they were from Alex Moving based in California ??? Not sure what happened to Carey Moving. Anyway, after some confusion, they loaded everything onto their non-Allied North American Van Lines truck and off they went.
On the receiving end, it was supposed to be Coleman Moving but they were not to be found. Alex Moving/North American Van Lines showed up and unloaded our belongings.
In the process, a dresser, two shelving units, and our hand truck were all damaged.
We never even saw anything related to Allied Van Lines.
We would never hire Allied Van Line again and we hope you won't either.

Lead driver was good as well as movers, particularly in Arkansas. Only issue was dirt marks on rug from moving items into new house.

Review of Allied Van Lines: Absolutely Unacceptable Experience
If I could give zero stars, I would. Our experience with Allied Van Lines was nothing short of disastrous. From start to finish, the negligence shown toward our property was appalling. We trusted them with our belongings, and what we received in return was damage, carelessness, and zero accountability.
Several of our items arrived broken or missing altogether, and it was clear that proper care and attention were not taken during the move. Boxes marked as fragile were tossed around as if they were meaningless, furniture was scratched and dented, and expensive items were handled with complete disregard. What made matters worse was the company’s lack of responsibility—calls went unanswered, claims were dragged out, and any form of resolution was met with excuses instead of solutions.
A moving company’s most basic duty is to safely transport property. Allied Van Lines failed at this fundamental task. Their negligence has cost us not only financially but also emotionally, as many damaged items were irreplaceable.
I strongly advise anyone considering Allied Van Lines to look elsewhere. There are plenty of reputable movers out there—do not make the same mistake we did by trusting this company with your belongings.

It would have been nice to have been informed that the packers were coming the day before the scheduled move. My wife and I were still having breakfast when they arrived. That being said, they were very efficient in their packing.

I am very happy with the care the team took with our possessions during the packing and loading process. They adjusted the bill to reflect some of the packing we had done prior to their arrival, so it actually came in less than the original estimate. Highly recommend.

Excellent experience from estimate, packing, updates with belongings during move and unloading. 3rd party was able to help hang pictures, hookup w/d, setup gym. Very easy to work with and I would definitely recommend!

The moving crew represented your company well. They were knowledgeable and efficient. It seemed as though everyone had a job to do and they all knew what that job was. They were also helpful to each other as well as myself. Overall the crew members and especially their attitude towards the work was by far the best part of the move. My thanks to Xay, Terry, Reggie, Elvis and a fifth member whose name I’m sorry to say I can’t remember. Great job guys!

Overall a good experience. Virtual walk through went well. Received an itemized list of items and costs associated with each item. We worked to sell many of the items that were higher priced to move, and we were surprised that the actual moving expense was virtually the same as the “highest price”estimate. Had we known this we would not have sold those items. Unfortunately, we never received a final bill so we could compare the two. The best part of the move was the movers. The Henderson family ( Alan, Toni, Marcus, and Keith) were amazing to work with from packing up our belongings to unloading them 750 miles away. We had not one broken, or missing item. They show up, they go to work, and they don’t quit until they’re finished. Truly great people to work with. They were timely and professional in every aspect of the move.
