Being profiled , and harassed numerous times to apply for a belk credit card in the same night is not my idea of a pleasant Shopping Experience. Yesterday evening after working all day , I told my partner I needed new earring's as the ones in my ears were causing me great discomfort and pain . We decided to shop at belk rather than battle Wallmart . Upon entering a woman at a desk asked us quickly if we wanted an account we said no . After browsing at separate boxes of earrings we were confused about the sale .. another woman browsed passed us and only asked us if we were interested in opening an account , then a few minutes after she walked away over the store PA a women announced to security to zone section 4 . As there weren’t many people shopping at 5 pm when everyone is just getting off work . There were like 4 other shoppers in the store . I wasn’t dressed in my street clothes - I was dressed in my work uniform . Sorry I didn’t have time to run home and change into appropriate clothing for belk . The only employee who was friendly and not pushing a credit card program or accusing us or me of shoplifting is the gentleman at the register. He was gracious enough to explain the coupons and the savings . Associate 014872 should receive a compliment and a raise but aside from that the other employees have way too much free time on their hands . Probably won’t be coming back to shop at this location again - sad to say but this visit makes it worth it to drive to the Haywood mall location.

My details regarding my visit to Belk are quite 'sad'. It is difficult to put into words. I'll just say do not go in at close to closing time, and do not carry an additional bag in with you.

Shout out to Shawn. She was amazing. I went in looking like a mess trying to find business attire. She was patient, helpful, non judging and all around pleasure. Which calmed my anxiety of shopping for attire that was out of my wheelhouse.
I left smiling and confident about the experience. Thank you so much Shawn

Can always find a good sale ìf not in store, you can check availability and if they have just pay and it ships to your home for FREE. if you go home and order you have to order a set amount before you get free shippingĺ
