Car itself was a nice vehicle but it was not cleaned well at all. It was dirty and smelly, (trash, lighter, sticky stuff on seats) barely cleaned at all. (Didn't notice till we got in the back seats.) Was promised a partial credit and we have not received any notification of any partial credits as promised.

Great experience, fast pick up and drop off with Fastbreak. The technical issue I had which got resolved was filling up the car upon drop off. Which on my account had Fuel Plans (GSO) additional the front desk on pick up didn't ask me about enrolling in it though it was on my account. But it was resolved when I dropped it off. So it was the best possible outcome.

Too bad it won't let you put zero stars. We reserved a large SUV(Suburban to be exact) as we needed it for business. We reserved 2+ weeks in advance. Got to the counter at GSP and were told we could have a minivan......only choice available. Also, $600+ for 2 days. We were told minivans were same price as Suburbans. Never again.

Don’t ever rent from here. I have been a loyal customer for years now and this past rental will be my last. When I was given my car it was filthy so I asked for a new car. They gave me one and I guess they didn’t put it on my account. So when I returned it they never marked my car as returned. They have charged my card $1,400 over the past week even though it was fully paid at the time of pickup. Lost prevention has been harassing my calling, driving by my house and they have been contacting my family!!!! That is unacceptable! I have talked to several people and the company and incompetence is crazy! Don’t waste you time here

We had an excellent experience with Budget. The pickup was smooth and very quick compared to previous experiences with other rental companies at GSP. Pricing was better than any other rates, even on the discount sites. Employees were friendly and efficient.

Pick up and drop off was simple. The car was comfortable and clean. My biggest issue is that I reserved a full size vehicle which was a free upgrade from standard. I received an intermediate or midsize (Sentra),therefore, should have been charged for a compact car. Of course my bill did not reflect the smaller car category I received. I hope management actually reads this.

Unfortunately we had a bad experience with you. Front desk not friendly and kind rude. After that, she told us we would get a free upgrade. When we picked up the car, it was completely discusting inside and out. Dirty like I've never seen in a rental car. The smell of cigarettes could be smelled outside. Both I, my wife and my daughter, are allergic to cigarettes. The windshield fluid indicated it was low, the left rear tire was low. Fast food inside the car. We just didn't return it because we had to travel at that time and we had no choice. Our experience was the worst we have ever had. We constantly rent cars from other companies and have never had an experience like this. One offered us a $25 discount as a courtesy. I accepted her offer, not to be rude, but it made me see that you really don't know how to treat and create a relationship with a client.

Old and dilapidated vehicles. The first vehicle was not in working order, being that the steering wheel shook horribly when getting to 45mph. Upon calling in for a replacement they stated it would take 2-3 hours before they could come pick it up and replace it. Drove it back to the lot and got a new vehicle, after wasting 6 hours of my vacation dealing with this location staff and the call center. Sketchy business practices, like adding prepaid gas when it was not requested, and late drop off, when I was on time. At drop-off they stated that I would get the final bill emailed to me. I received the email with the final bill, and it was completely wrong, charging me double the rate that I was supposed to get. Attempted calling to get it corrected, but of course no one answered the phone, so I had to go back to the location (another hour wasted). I was met with skepticism when speaking to the agent at the return counter. After being lectured by said agent, about everything wrong that the agent who checked me out the previous day did and how I should have purchased roadside service (for an issue that they obviously were responsible for), my bill was fixed. I thanked him and went on my way. This is my first time renting with Budget in about 6 years and I will try to avoid them going forward.

I prepaid 16-days in advance for a vehicle. I paid on 9/1/23 for a RAV4 or similar vehicle. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle on 9/16 I am told by a very rude and frustrated employee there were no vehicles and I would have to wait at least an hour. No vehicles arrived, however after an hour the clerk said they had a car for me. Ironically, it was a car that had been parked on-site the entire time. It was a sedan, smaller than what I had reserved. It was unclean. Being that it was the end of day I needed a vehicle. I spoke with the clerk and reminded her that my prepaid was a bigger vehicle and cost more than the sedan. I asked her to credit me with the difference in vehicles since I was forced in taking a smaller car. At first she was reluctant. I pressed and she said I could only receive $30 off. I said the prepaid vehicle, which I am not getting, was much more the $30. She then said she would give me $50 and to take it or leave it. She refused to give me a receipt. Did not provide me a contract on the vehicle or a damage sheet. Nothing. I told here I must have a contract. She would only send me the original reservation I had made. No discounts, no contract revisions, nothing. I asked for her supervisor's name and contact information but was refused. In addition she had an argument with a coworker that resulted in this gentleman storming around the car bays, in front of customers, screaming and cussing nonstop and dropping many expletives about her and his disdain for her. Next day I called budget and a service rep guaranteed me my credit would be applied when I returned the sedan. When I returned the sedan the clerk on duty, Alysia, was told the story. She states this was unacceptable and assured me the credit would be applied. Well to-date, I have not received any credits to my charges.

I rented a van for a trip my family and I took. I rented the vehicle on a Saturday to return on a Tuesday for about $75 a day. I rented from the airport and when reserved I wasn’t advised that if you don’t have flight info there is a $200 deposit required that was my first issue but I paid the deposit because at that point I didn’t have a choice. I was originally scheduled to return the vehicle at 8pm on Tuesday night, I needed to extend the rental and return Wednesday morning at 8 am (12 hours) and I was charged $150 which is two times the amount I was originally charged per day just to extend 12 hours. I was sure to fill the vehicle with gas prior to returning, but almost two weeks later my credit card was charged $15 for gas. I tried calling for two days straight and the line was busy and I have yet to speak with someone. Long story short, I WILL NEVER RENT FROM BUDGET AGAIN!!!!!!!

Be careful with Budget Car Rental. They charge you for a full day's rental for any rental drop-off later than your initial pickup time. They are inflexible, and the system does not take into account varying flight times. My flight arrived in Greenville at 10:30am on Tuesday, and my departure flight left Greenville at 5:55pm on Thursday. I paid for three days, and when I dropped the rental off on Thursday, around 3:30pm, I was charged for another full day. This has not been my experience with other rental companies. I will definitely seek out other rental car options in the future. I should note, though, that the Budget employees were exemplary in their professionalism, notwithstanding Budget's lack of care for its customers.

Counter was understaffed -1 person, long line/wait time. There were 2 signs visible upon approaching Budget. They stated …”Please proceed down to the lower level. Our Associates at the Avis counter will be happy to help you….”. I went to Avis, stood in line and the clerk was confused as to why I was there. He explained his cars were for customers with Avis reservations and could NOT help me. I then had to travel to the other floor and get in line at Budget. I asked the clerk why they had the sign up, he read it, and nonchalantly proceeded place it back on the counter.

Great customer service! The person at the desk was so helpful and informative. We booked just a basic compact car and when we got there we got upgraded to a mid sized pickup truck for FREE! It made our time in Greenville much more enjoyable.

I have rented with budget for almost 30yrs, and this time was the worse. There customer service has gone to hell. No one wanted to help with our issue and no matter what number you called it was always the same people that all they did was read off a computer. I would never rent with them again. They might be the most reasonable but that is not always the best.

I rented a vehicle from Budget. I reserved a full size sedan 2 weeks in advance and when I arrived they said all we have is a minivan. To top it off I filled the gas tank and when I looked at my receipt they charged me $118 for fuel. This is unacceptable by a national brand. Enterprise here I come.
