Not one bad experience ! Highly recommend this location. Manager is super sweet and professional also every one here has such a great customer service attitude. A lot of ppl don’t understand that making a reservation online vs calling there to make one is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

told me I had to have a major credit card to do a same-day rental but if I wait the next day I can get it with a bank or debit card which makes no sense to me

Where is the drop off box? Sign says 24/7 service. Sunday afternoon and we need to drop off the vehicle! Service has been terrible.

I returned my rental car yesterday. It was the worst rental car experience ever. I decided to return my car at 8am (both the website and the sign on their door said that they were open at 8am) since I had commitments during the time when my rental expired later that morning. When I got there, the building was locked and dark. There wasn't a drop off box either. My fiancé and I called the corporate office because we could not wait around due to a prior commitment. The associate from corporate was not helpful, and she even said that we had showed up at 7:00am and not 8:00am (I guess that she was in a different time zone and had no idea that SC was in a different time zone). Eventually, the back shop employee showed up at 8:15am, and he took my keys for me. He was unable to give me a receipt because the front desk employee was not there yet. The whole experience from the Hertz location not being open when they said that they would to the very rude and unhelpful associate on the phone was very unprofessional. I will not be recommending this location of Hertz.

Very shady and dishonest location. I was working with an insurance claim, and needed a car to get me home 8 hours away. After reading the fine print, I discovered that it would be a nearly $1400 additional charge for a 1-way rental. I cancelled the rental, and the woman working said "OK it's cancelled, we will just charge the insurance the $50/day rate today." I never even touched keys or saw the car and she was trying to bill my insurance company. It's a bummer that they can't do a one-way rental, but unethical to charge insurance for a service they never delivered.

Fraudulently charged a $250 “excessive” cleaning fee weeks after and would not back down when disputed. Zero proof offered. Fraudsters. Stay away!

It’s 9:16am and their listed hours of operation are 8am-5pm. The location is still closed and nobody in sight to assist the many customers just waiting outside. Irresponsible location. Terrible service.

Watch out for their limited liability insurance scam. Even if you say you dont need it they will still charge you and then refuse to refund it. I rented the car 2 months ago and got charged 264 bucks yesterday for it. I got rear ended a ok j shouldn't have paid a cent. The insurance company said they were sick of dealing with hertz and gave me the refund with their own money. Hertz is a joke

Do not do business with these people or with Hertz. We added a 2nd driver for no additional cost because of our AAA membership. They charged us anyway. When we pointed it out, they said we would have to contact Hertz corporate. After a run around, Hertz corporate admitted they shouldn't have charged us and that they had charged the wrong amount to begin with. On the phone, they said they were removing the charge but the latest statement still has it. We contested with our credit card company and they say Hertz is standing by their claim.DoNotDoBusinessHere.
