Southern First is a sad reflection of the customer focused bank it used to be. It has become big and bureaucratic. I have been a customer for 15 years. It has been sad to watch this happen.

I have had personal interactions with every member of the Parkway branch and I can honestly say that they all excel at customer service. They are always smiling and happy to help in any way possible and very responsive to any request I have, whether it is in person or by phone. In my 30 years of being a banking client, I have never had a better experience with a branch or a bank. Southern First and the Parkway branch are exceptional!!

Recently moved to this area and opened several accounts at Southern First on The Parkway in Greer, South Carolina. I have been completely thrilled with their professionalism as well as customer support and customer service. Every time I have been to this branch, I am greeted immediately and my banking needs responded to promptly and efficiently. I feel that Kim Macklanburg at Southern First actually listened to me and worked hard to understand my banking needs. Glad I made this choice.

Kim and the entire staff is amazing. I have never experienced this level of service at any financial institution. I will never bank at the big national banks again.
