I like the quick convenience of self check out bcz ALL the high schoolers are ONLY interested in their lives & talk among themselves like you're invisible! I understand they need jobs but should take it seriously if im coming to spend My $$. One young man who worked the carts was cordial.

Fun NC supermarket chain in SC. Well-stocked and clean, with friendly cashiers, and everything you need from produce to household to a great selection of wines, snacks, cheese and crackers, and more.... They even have a brewery inside (well, a beer counter).

Lowe's is a high end supermarket offering multiple options. It is similar to Whole Foods and Harris Teeter. It is in my neighborhood almost walking distance from my home. What I like best is the cheese selection. It constantly changes, but still has the old reliables always available. The store brands are very good also. The wine selection is great for reliable brands. There is an in-house beer den so you can have a cool one while you shop. You can snip your own herbs when you need just enough. All in all, a great shopping experience and for me the best of convenience.

(3.5) ~ good overall conventional grocery store that should have most items you are looking for at a reasonable price.

Prices are lower than expected! Quality specialty foods are also lower! Chicken from the kitchen is better than KFC chicken! I get some every time I go there!

Pricier than other places, but worth it. A great variety of food, with a gourmet flair. Clean and modern shopping experience, and friendly service.

Very cool store. I've never seen such a cool grocery. Wish I had had more time to browse. It had a lot of little areas that are really cool. Upscale. Cool bakery, wine shop, meat shop etc. employees were helpful. Just a cool place.

This is my second week in a row coming to this location and I only came to pick up a Western Union the first week I came. They told me they hadn't set up the new system yet the second time I come there discussing who gets off first so they can decide who has to help me then they tell me they don't know how to do Western Union because they don't have a number and Western Union closes at 6 PM. The lady that told me this was an older woman I came in on a Thursday night and she told me she couldn't do my money order. Very disappointing. I came in at 7:30. Last time I checked that is not late.

Evening meal from the deli, eaten on site prior to grocery shopping: the meatloaf was overcooked leaving it dry and burned on the bottom and tasting so bad even ketsup couldn't save it from going straight to trash. Both sides, while we'll prepared, we're barely warm rendering them unpleasant to eat. The highlight was the cornbread which was excellent even if cold and without condiments. We won't eat from that side of the deli again as we've found the sandwiches & pizza from the other side to be outstanding. The availability of and single servicing from the store to accompany the meals is a big plus.

I wanted to like this store. The first time I went I had a great experience. I'm not on that side of town often, and so I was excited to go back. I would give employees 5 stars for friendliness & being available all around the store for help. Unfortunately, some of my products weren't clean or fresh. I went there this past Thursday and first thing I noticed when I got home was my pack of strawberries had mold in the middle, which I didn't see on prior inspection. I called and they said I could exchange them, which was very nice. However, I went back the next day and every package I tried to trade with had mold? So, skipped the berries for now and mentioned it to cashier. Then Friday, my organic cherry tomatoes had already molded after a day. Today, Sunday, I went to eat my newly bought yogurt and it tasted funny, checked the package- had expired last month! Then later today was going to snack on my other tomatoes from the bar- also already bad. Never had this problem before. Maybe I should have checked the expiration date on certain things I buy, but I assumed a store like Lowe's would have done that already. Anyways, didn't love the products being expired and going bad just a day or 2 after purchase. The employees are wonderful, but I wouldn't return just for that.

Lowes foods is like the Disney World of grocery stores! A great experience with everything you'd expect from a grocery store and so much more!

I come from NY. The big boy up there is chain called Wegmans. Lowes Foods feels like the southern version of Wegmans. They off incredible choice and selection. They support local businesses. They offer services that no other stores in the upstate offer (at least not that I know of) including a bar. The Lowe's Food discount card can really being you bill down. The meat department is first class and best in class. The bakery is also amazing and the salas bar is killer great produce. Just a pleasure to shop there.

Nice store with a good selection. Would've given 5 stars if weren't for flies behind the deli counter, more than one. Hope they address the issue
